They play the Panthers at home. They win, and Monty gets first star. Monty gets first star, and he picks Josh. Josh isn’t exactly sure how it started, this whole thing of taking your own guys to the Room. He definitely never heard of it before he came to the Kraken. But since he’s been with his new team, it’s happened maybe…twenty percent of their wins, Josh estimates? Often enough that the guys aren’t weird about it when the trainer comes around and Monty says, Muzzy, let’s go. No awkward silences, no raised eyebrows or weird stares, no jeers or protests. Just some wolf whistles and gentle chirping as Monty steers Josh out of the locker room and down the hallway, massaging his shoulders as he drives Josh’s body forward. “There’s nobody in either room I want more than you, Muzz,” Monty explains, when Josh asks. “Yeah, but, you already have me,” Josh counters. And boy, does Monty ever have him. Wrapped around his little finger and tied up with a bow. Monty shrugs. “All the more reason to have you with all the accoutrements, no? Make it something special.” He lowers his head down to Josh’s ear, breath warm against the side of his neck, and Josh shivers. “Think of all the beautiful things I can do to you in the Room I can’t do in a regular hotel.”

It’s been a long while since Josh has been chosen for a Room, so he doesn’t really understand what Monty means until they actually get there and the door swings open, Josh’s mouth falling open along with it. “I’ll let you choose, sweet thing,” Monty says, striding into the room with confidence, as Josh remembers to shut his mouth. “Do you want to start on the fucking bench, or the X-frame?” Josh’s throat goes dry, clicking as he tries to make sound, his mind only half-present as he takes in the shelves of brightly-coloured toys, ropes, and other equipment. But Monty’s looking at him expectantly, so warm and eager, and Josh feels the tug in his gut pulling him further into the room like he’s attached to an invisible string. He moves toward the X-frame without words as Monty grins that damn thousand-watt smile. “Oh, good choice, sweetheart,” Monty coos, skimming his hands down Josh’s flank as he leans in to suck and nibble at the soft skin of Josh’s neck. “Clothes off, that’s a good boy.” He pulls back to let Josh stretch his top off over his head, and when Josh drops the baselayer to the floor and looks back, Monty’s looking him up and down with such transparent want that it makes Josh’s stomach backflip. Josh shimmies his bottoms and underwear down his hips, and then he’s naked in front of Monty, who’s holding a soft-looking weft of ice-blue rope in his hands. “How-” Josh croaks. Swallows. “How do you want me?” “Gonna wrap you up all nice and pretty for me, then tie you up to the cross,” Monty winks. “Arms out, legs apart.” The rope is just as soft as it looks as Monty winds it around deftly around Josh’s torso, working his way down between his legs to neatly truss his cock and balls. He pays special attention to the ties around Josh’s junk, making sure there’s extra room for Josh’s rapidly hardening cock, sliding a finger under the rope to test that it’s not too tight. “That comfy, Muzz?” Josh nods. “Yes, sir.” It always is, unless Josh actively requests otherwise- Monty is so diligent with Josh’s body, protecting him from things he doesn’t even know to be afraid of. “What are you going to say if something hurts or you need to stop?” “Panther,” Josh replies quickly. “Good. One last thing, darling,” Monty says, grinning a wicked smile Josh knows doesn’t portend anything good for him. “Bend over, hands on your ankles.” Josh obeys, wincing when he hears the click of a lube cap and jerking forward as he feels the cold goop against his asshole. Then there’s a blunt push driving some kind of toy inside him, the texture room-chilled and too firm to be any part of Monty. It’s big- not the biggest thing Monty’s ever made him take- but big all the same, and Josh chokes a little as it nestles deep inside him, pressing up against his prostate. Monty comes up in front of him and stands him upright before planting a quick kiss to Josh’s lips. Then the toy starts to fucking move and that’s- it’s- oh, dear fucking god- “It vibrates,” Monty smiles and wiggles a remote between his fingers, as Josh moans and squirms in place. After a few seconds, Monty clicks off the vibration, providing Josh some temporary mercy, though his ear-to-ear grin tells Josh just exactly what kind of night he’s in for. “C’mon, baby, let’s get you settled all nice and pretty for me on the cross. You ready?” Josh gives a wordless groan, eliciting a delighted laugh from Monty. He walks forward on shaky legs.

There’s something wrong with my brain because I’m watching the intermission report like:
