Writer Problems #1405

Literally every new piece of information we get makes this relationship look more pathetic than previously thought possible. My God.

If only they set alt.universe as one of the ending's options

I mean it makes a better ending because Alt.universe Max seems more socially accepted (not a cliche geek and duh, get into the Vortex Club for the better access and can team up with everybody to kick out Mr. Jeffershit if he is still a psycho in this timeline to help poor missing Rachel Amber because it’s an old Max, with proofs, in alt.universe Maxine’s body right?). Also by being an old wise self in not-so-wise self in alt.universe, she technically can stop (if there any because this alt.universe has a peaceful atmosphere) bullying and can be a positive influence to her friends. She keeps contact with Chloe (not “abandon or leave” her), and the most important thing : it serves Max’s main reason to save both Chloe (by letting her die peacefully and not in angry + sad state) and Arcadia Bay (no storm, just some birds and whales dying but duh everything need sacrifices), plus even the all things that happen, Chloe still have both of her parents to the end. Alt.universe Chloe is also more mature and wiser (which are her parents expectation in original timeline), she doesn’t blame anybody but herself because she understands her situation, her parents very well, and really don’t need anything other than fulfill her final wish to meet and spend time with you.    It also makes more sense why Max given this power; to turn Arcadia Bay into a more peaceful town, make everybody friendly and happy (even though you *check Max’s SMS* *cough* got Nathan than Warren (which actually awesome because it’s a good Prescott, imagine that!), and use it wisely not for your own selfish need (Sacrifice Arcadia Bay ending is very selfish in my opinion). The other 2 real endings seem kinda purposeless and just made to dramatize the game…

How would Levi persue a relationship with someone? Would he use subtle hints or outright ask them? Thank you!!! You're an amazing writer!!!

DISCLAIMER: This is my personal opinion. I believe I have answered some variant of this question before, but in canon, it is next to impossible for me to picture Levi purposefully pursuing a relationship with anyone, and I have a lot of reasons for this.

Reason number one is the fact that he is a very busy man with little to no free time and a lot of responsibility on his shoulders. He spends most of his time either training with his squad, discussing battle plans with other veterans and/or the higher ups in the Brass, and if he isn’t doing that; he’s most likely doing mountains of paperwork or on an expedition. I doubt he has a whole lot of free time to focus on romance. Which is one of the reasons why I always state that I believe it would take years for Levi to gain a romantic interest in someone to begin with.

Reason number two is the fact that he is socially awkward as fuck. Imagine this man trying to flirt. It would be so terrible. He has the social eloquence of a bull in a china shop and not to mention he was raised in the underground. I doubt very highly that he knows anything about how to properly court a woman and I’m 90% sure he is fully aware of these things. So it’s hard for me to picture him trying to flirt with someone. Even Isayama himself has said he would be T E R R I B L E at it lol. 

The third reason is simply because he is naturally selfless. Imagine if he did tell the person of interest his feelings and they returned them, but one of them died shortly afterward. Would it be worth putting the person he cared for through so much pain if he died? Considering Levi has experienced loss on an untold scale, I’m positive this is something he would heavily consider. Levi has stated before that he lives every single day of his life expecting to die at every waking moment. He fights on the front lines and though he may be strong and skilled; he still only human and humans make mistakes. For Levi, even the smallest mistake could get him or someone else killed. 

The fourth reason is simply for the fact that I see him as the type to let things like romantic interest develop very naturally and without any effort of pushing the issue. This is another reason why I always state that I think it would take years for Levi to develop romantic feelings for someone. If he did have feelings for someone after an allotted amount of time and a decent friendship had developed between them, and he came to realize that the other person was sharing the same emotions ( i.e. they outright tell him, they flirt with him or try to, certain things they say about him, how they compliment him, etc), then at that point I think he would address it in a very forthcoming manor. But, I still don’t think he’d pursue a committed relationship. It would mostly just be a “How do you see me?” kind of conversation that would end with no commitments outside of trying to stay alive.

But mainly, I don’t think he’d make the promise of a relationship to anyone simply because he can’t promise that he’ll be able to live long enough to see it through or to make the other person happy. The ONLY way I could see Levi outright seeking a relationship with someone in canon is if he had some sort of rude awakening that made him highly regret not pursuing what his heart told him to.

this scene man, this fucking wrecked me not even from a jonerys standpoint but like she’s looking a jon and begging him like she’s never begged anyone else to choose her and it’s bonkers to think that if she’d gotten any kind of warmth or positive reception, if there had been any kind of gratitude for all that she had given and sacrificed in their names, she wouldn’t have been so desperate, wouldn’t have felt so isolated and alone, she knew exactly what sansa would do if she knew the truth about jon, knew she would it against her, and all she wanted again and again was not have her ‘house with the red door’ (jon and the iron throne have become the symbols of safety and security she’s always longed for and never had) taken away from her and she knows now, that no matter what she does, no matter how much she gives, she’s always going to be the “foreign invader” to these people and at her most vulnerable, most alone, most needing comfort and reassurance, jon can’t even give that to her like i’m so mad they were playing a game of how far can we push and push and push a person before they finally break, and dany broke

14 Days Until NaruSaku Day!

The ever important day, April 3rd, is only 2 weeks away!

April 3rd is the day the Shounen Jump calendar listed as the “Day Naruto fell in love with Sakura” in 2010. Since then, NaruSaku fans across the world have celebrated this day once a year. You can read more about it here [x]

In the past, NaruSaku Day has been bombastic and fantastic. The NaruSaku Day of 2015 is one of the most events I’ve ever participated in. It was a dream. I’m sorry for all the people who weren’t around to see it in all it’s glory. You can find remnants of it here [x] [x]

Slowly but surely, people are drifting further from NaruSaku and Naruto and moving onto bigger and better things. Such is to be expected.

We here at NaruSaku factory don’t have anything huge planned or any themes to suggest. We have some queued up posts of some of the best NaruSaku Day of the past.
