White people: if you want to help long term: get used to being told your opinion is wrong, irrelevant, or unwanted. Tell your friends to get used to it. Work on getting used to it and do this work with other white people. Because white supremacy has all of y’all very used to being right and being an inherently valued voice and if we’re going to fight white supremacy you’re going to have to be comfortable surrendering that expectation and also white people will need to learn how to handle being rejected or disagreed with. It’s an extension of racism and racial trauma for black people to try and educate or speak up about our issues only to expose ourselves to your white fragility which makes you defensive– this defensiveness can look like shutting down, silencing us, painting all corrections or disagreements as ‘fighs’ (extending the idea that black people are aggressive) etc.
White resilience is the opposite of white fragility and black people are VERY good at resilience, unfortunately. Listen to us we know how to combat this.

an accurate description of why my family hates me and why i’m going to die alone (not my art)
I really like that mentality !!!
I may have little use for Tomi Lahren’s belief system, but this is how all debates should end; with basic human respect. Kudos to both of them for their respectful post chat dialogue. Maybe they each learned something from each other.
Enjoy.

Things people who are unfamiliar with IT need to be prepared for before seeing Chapter 2 (kinda spoiler warning? I won’t try to go into great detail):
There is a very graphic suicide scene that will more than likely be shown in it’s full gory amount. If that is something you will not be able to handle, I would not suggest seeing the movie.
The movie WILL include a scene dealing with discrimination and a hate crime. There is a scene in the book where a gay couple is walking home and one of them (perhaps both, but the graphic part only happens to one of them for sure) gets attacked by a group of men. He is cruelly beaten and thrown off a bridge. Something absolutely horrific happens with Pennywise at the bottom of the bridge, but I will not be spoiling that. (Might I ad, the only reason they were attacked was because of the hat he worse. It read “I <3 Derry” which Pennywise can be seen holding in one of the new pop dolls.
The movie WILL be dealing with Beverley’s abusive husband. You can see on her wrists that she has bruising, which has most certainly been caused by her husband. This scene with the two of them could be very very serious and could also be very very triggering for some people.
The movie includes what has been called the bloodiest scene in horror movie history.
This movie will be A LOT darker than the first one. Things were different and not nearly as dark as they will be in the new one.
Remember, the first movie was revolved around CHILDREN and CHILD LIKE EXPERIENCES. There will be some darker and more serious material in this film.
I heard on an interview that there is a scene dealing with flashing lights which may or may not trigger epilepsy. I am sure they will comment on this if it will for sure have any possibility of triggering a seizure. BUT. IF THEY DO NOT, PLEASE GO ABOUT THIS MOVIE WITH CAUTION.
I know, most people who will be attending this film will be able to handle it’s graphic content, but people need to understand that this movie will be EXTREMELY GRAPHIC. There will be lots of blood. Lots of scenes involving cutting. Several deaths. And a lot of forms of abuse.
There are multiple deaths in this film. Two of them involving main characters.
The movie will definitely be different than the book, so all my warnings may not be accurate and I will update after seeing the film.
This is all I have for now. As more material comes out, I will update this post. If any of this seems triggering to you or will make you uncomfortable, DO NOT SEE THE FILM. This movie will be very scary and intense. Please share to bring awareness to those who are unsure.
