“Euphemia and Fleamont Potter tried and failed for many years to bring a child into the world before baby James came along. They were much older, and wealthy, so James grew up in a doting environment without the compromise of siblings, in a home without material limits.” (From Pottermore)

I’ve seen a lot of people criticizing and ripping on ko mun yeong’s behaviour and her character. I just wanted to clear something up, her character suffers from ASPD ( antisocial personality disorder ). This is a mental disorder and people with ASPD tend to ignore others feelings and show no regard for right or wrong. They also may act impulsively and lie and don’t care about the effects of their actions. Now it’s very clear that Ko mun yeong continuously acts the way she does not only because of this disorder and the trauma she faced in her childhood but becasue she hasn’t gotten any kind of treatment or psychological care. I really hope that this drama doesn’t brush over her illness and make it seem like she’s just crazy or something. I hope we get to see her illness being discussed and her actually getting the help she needs. I don’t want it to be brushed aside as a caricature or she’s just that way but I want to see some actual help given and actually discussing the issues around ASPD as well what it’s like.

It’s hard to describe, but in their own words: “Endel creates personalized soundscapes to give your mind and body what it needs to achieve total immersion in any task”. Basically you have four modi: relax, focus, on-the-go and sleep mode. They take into consideration external conditions such as heart rate, weather, time and location to personalize these soundscapes. I personally love sleep mode!
Moodpath | free
[mental health]
It’s a mental health diary but without the excessive writing and the nagging feeling of guilt when you don’t have the time to update it. It helps you to reflect and get information. What I absolutely love about it: you don’t have to write. If you don’t want to at least. They will ask you daily questions about your emotional and physical well-being, that way you’ll get a bi-weekly mental health assessment. You can learn effective methods and techniques + have a reference of your emotional state which you can share with mental health professionals.
you know so i’m a psychology student and an abuse survivor so i have a pretty keen eye for the red flags in people’s behavior and this one day several years ago i was sitting there and really got to thinking about taylor’s struggle with the media and other celeb’s struggles as well and it hit me really hard that celebrities are essentially in emotionally abusive relationships with the public
they’re constantly put down and criticized for everything: their appearance, voice, talent, words, financial status, etc., their privacy is invaded, they’re threatened and assaulted, they’re stalked, they’re constantly told by others that they’re doing things that they aren’t doing (gaslighting), etc.
and honestly the moment i took that in and really, really understood it, my heart broke for the artists that i love
