Cybertronian Units of Time: a Guide
…concocted by me, via:
Canon Definitions
Most Common Terms Used in Fandom (that I have seen)
Most Common Interpretations of Aforementioned Terms
Math That Makes Those Terms Make Sense Together
Filling in the Blanks With What Sounded Good (to me)
So essentially I began with Cybertronian units with explicit definitions in canon that are also widely used in fandom (ie. Vorn = 83 years, Joor = 6 hours, Groon = 1 hour). I then worked my way out from those and tried to keep to rough factors of 6/8/10.
Some terms that did have explicit canon definitions had to be slightly skewed from their value (ie. Breem: 8 → 6 minutes, Klik: 8 → 6 seconds) if their definition contradicted another definition that made more sense/fit better.
At any rate, obviously no one is obligated to use this standard, but canon Transformers content has been unfortunately… awful at establishing any universal units of time, their relationship to each other, or their equivalents to human units of time.
So this occasionally makes fanfiction an absolute nightmare for people like me with a crap memory who don’t want to constantly have to scroll through a thousand pages of the wiki to remind themselves what the hell a groon is.
So, naturally, I simply spent far too long whipping up this at-a-glance guide to keep track of it & on the off chance that the fandom might adopt it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If your hair doesn't fit into one of these categories, or if you do not have hair, select whatever you think is closest– unfortunately there's no room for an "other" option.

Hey everyone! This idea has been knocking around my head for a while now, and before I commit any resources too it I thought I'd ask you all about it.
Some more info - the book would be a collection of short stories from all across the world I've been posting about for over a year now, as well as setting up some plot points for an eventual set of novels I want to write.
There would be 27 short stories - one from each of the lands of this world. For people who have read A Map of the Deadlands, think of that as a very little version of what this book will be
between these short stories, we follow the mysterious Curator, a figure cloaked in shadows and gold as he travels the Continent looking for curios to fill his museum with. What's his story? What's with the helmet? All stuff I'm excited to talk about in this book. Here he is.
Some of you might recognise that helmet from this video, and thats no coincidence! This video is a working trailer of sorts for this project, and when its done I'll probably launch the Kickstarter as a whole!
As for the actual Kickstarter, here's some of the nitty gritty.
I would be aiming for around £8,000. It looks like a lot, but its (nearly) one year of my rent. With that paid for, I can focus my all on getting this project finished
Kickstarter rewards? You know it. If you back, I would send you back lots of goodies, from Museum of the Continent merch, pins, prints, and even a character of yours appearing in the book!
Here's some of my work you might have seen that would be making an appearance in the book - from magic to monsters and everything between.
Anyway, sorry for the long post. If anything will come of this it probably wont be for a few months at least, but any support at all is very appreciated! And, again, if this seems like something you would be into please let me know, thank you!
Oh, and of course a name -
since chinese new year is next month (Feb 10th) I figured I’d do a poll like this— it also indicates a tumblr age demographic so that’s always interesting
You know what would be hilarious.
Trans Batman accidentally convincing Gotham that the batclan are like clownfish.
This is helped along when Red Hood comes onto the scene and is later also revealed to be a batclan member.
Spin this wheel twice to figure out what they are!
as in, can you identify your accent / tell what parts of your speech are accented etc, or do you think you “don’t have an accent” (you do, everyone does, but for the purposes of explanation)
slight clarification: the poll is about asking the green person themselves, since if you choose ask your friends they do not know
I think I might redo a couple of my old hermitcraft AUs. Y'know since there's now Skizz and Joel who are apart of the group now. Question is which one I should redo first
Information on each AU:
Centaur Au- Rather self-explanatory, everyone is centaurs instead of humans or humanoid. Mostly horses but there's some variants too.
Cabin in the Woods Au- Cabin in the Woods-esque world with monster/creachur hermits & friends. Along with a bit of people turning into monsters.
Dracotaur Au- I mean, dragon centaurs. Including long noodle bois, chonky bois, big winged bois, and people getting turned into draconic creatures and going a bit feral.
Protomob Au- Where the hermits are the prototypes to the modern-day mob hybrids. A little glitched, a little less human, a very much more cryptid to other people.
Monster Hunter Au- Takes place post-S8 but more like the world is pre-monster hunter. And the hermits are all practically deities now, their essence keeping the world alive and going. And mutating the surrounding areas.
Naruto Aftermath Au- (Name might change) Pretty much several hermits are Naruto characters, but like, post a timeline where they won against the Moon Goddess but were the only survivors for several centuries. Including Etho = Kakashi, Skizz = Sasuke, Scar = Obito, etc
