I've seen a lot of posts on how Astronomy by Conan Gray in the ultimate Monty's song, but i can't stop thinking about The King being the ultimate Cat King's song

To be clear, it's not like I'm against the idea of them being a romantic couple, I just like that they don't necessarily need that to have the sweetest relationship ever

As someone who has always been replaced in the hearts of my best friends by their boyfriends/girlfriends, I find Charles Rowland being THE comfort character for me. He loves his best friend more than anyone even without the romantic aspect of the feeling.

Romantic love is often showed as the best, the purest and the strongest kind of love, and it is sooo nice to see a character who chooses his platonic friend over everything.

Remember that this is how we leave them.

Whatever happens, they are safe, they are smiling, they are together.

I hate it that Edwin's only friend apart from Charles passed away so quickly. Edwin and Niko have such a wholesome dynamic, for the first time in forever he can be completely open about his feelings with somebody and it lasts only a couple of days. How lonely must he be after Niko moving on to her afterlife and Charles rejecting his romantic feelings...

Charlie Spring taught me the lesson of "you don't owe those who hurt you your forgiveness no matter what they say" so well that I'm not normal about Edwin being like "yeah dude, you constantly bullied me and was the reason i ended up in FREAKING HELL, but you did it cause you had a crush on me, so naturally i forgive you. Wanna go back to the world of living with me?"

The Netflix show Dead Boy Detectives was released on the 25th April 2024. So I thought it would be nice to celebrate the first anniversary with a prompt event running from the 19th to the 25th April!
