S'il y a bien quelque chose que nous savons, c'est que Les Sims comportent beaucoup de mods intéressants qui modifient grandement l'expérience de jeu. Cependant, un manque existe dans la communauté française des Sims 2 : la traduction des mods et contenus personnalisés en français.

Je déposerai désormais sur ce post des mods et contenus personnalisés entièrement traduits en français, afin que plusieurs puissent en profiter.

OFB Bouquets Default Replacement

A replacement for OFB craftable bouquets with models from Sims 4.

It's not compatible with other flower replacements and recolors and everything repositoried to them. It is however compatible with @hugelunatic's buyable flowers. I also updated the height of the smoke fx on snapdragon, you'll need to remake/rebuy it for the changes to apply correctly.

As a bonus, I also included a conversion of 2 objects from Flower Shop Set by @serenebluesims (Pocci) - a flower stand (9 slots) and a flower bucket (1 slot, goes on surfaces too). I also converted a fridge from Spa Day and called it a "Flower Fridge" :D It's a shelf with 6 slots. Because flowers have a shadow underneath, it will stick out of the buckets, but let's imagine it's a water level maybe? :D

All files are necessary for the default to function correctly (you can't pick and choose). All shadows are repositoried to Lord Crumps' shadow file (not included).

Mod: Return of The Veg Out Interaction

I want to thank @freezerbunny-sims for mentionning that this was a thing in the Base Game. Thank you!

This mod re-enables the Veg Out and some other sofas/loveseats interactions. Even works with CC ones. It’s similar to Squinge’s Veg Out enabled mod, but mine doesn’t remove the personality restriction and also have fixed sub-interactions related to this.

To be able to Veg Out, Sims must be extremely lazy (no more than 1 Active point or 2 if you have @dreadpirate’s Personality Please! mod).

While vegging, Sims can :

Find a snack. It’s a sub-interaction available when clicking on the couch. This will make the selected Sim pull out a bag of cookies and eat. Hunger will slowly go up. Normally, you need a fridge for this interaction to appear, but I removed that restriction since it didn’t work properly.

Nod off. It’s basically the same as the Nap interaction, just with different animations.

Sims won’t autonomously do these interactions since Maxis set them like that and making these autonomous will be a pain to do and won’t be compatible with CC sofas/loveseats.

Knows Issues: These interactions were a mess to edit since they were broken in many places. I did the best I can do, but there are two problems remaining:

Sims’ social motive will go up while vegging out if other Sims are sitting in the same room. I suppose it’s because sitting Sims are supposed to talk together, but the Veg Out interaction doesn’t allow Sims to have a conversation.

In the French version of the game, Maxis made a translation error that I can’t fix for some reason. L'interaction “Find a Snack” devient “Chercher une cacahuète”, ce qui ne fait pas vraiment de sens.

Radioactive Barrel for the Sims 2

I made this with my boyfriend :p I think he even did babby's first mesh editing on it. You'll recognizing the barrel from one of the Maxis fireplaces. The object intermittently emits a modified version of the evil Snapdragon bouquet's effect. Be careful, sustained exposure will kill Sims! They may also vomit and think of radiation, as pictured. Fumes above the barrel mean the noxious effect is active. The sfx is from the base game. The object is always surrounded by ambient smoke, using the original evil Snapdragon sfx. That won't appear if you don't have OfB. Finally, the barrel also casts a green light on surrounding objects. While Sims can "view" it, I made the interaction non-autonomous. The barrel is found under Misc/Misc for 100$. Also: thank you to WHoward for guiding me with the vomiting haha. -> Download at SimFileShare

Finally, it's because of GUNMOD'S RADIANCE LIGHTING SYSTEM 2.5: now with 100% less blue nights! Once removed, no more pink flashing.

Conversion of everything from the Sims 4 Party Essentials kit.

Key features:

28 objects

Quarter tile placeable, smoothed out meshes, no shine on basic meshes, shine on some for special effects

Streamers are curtains, they have diagonal version (thank you @platinumaspiration)

Bar is functional (thank you @lordcrumps)

Disco ball is functional and animated (cloned from a disco ball by Franky and heavily edited)

Punch station is functional (cloned from an object by @crispsandkerosene), has full and empty state

Fog machine is functional (cloned from an effect by Sophie-David, further edited by @gummilutt to make it turn on and off on command)

TV and both music players (speaker and turntable) are functional too

Fiber Optic Garland comes in normal and neon version, you can keep both at the same time

Most items are categorized under "general-party", feel free to recategorize if it bothers you

If I know Simblr I know it takes a white person to say anything for anyone to give a shit, so listen up and read carefully! 📖

The posts about the Sims 1 and 2 re release having the Denuvo DRM on them were mostly written BEFORE it was proven to be false. They are likely NOT spreading ‘misinformation!!!111’ intentionally. Many have self-corrected. Take your heads out of your asses and take a moment to consider things before accusing people. I know this is Tumblr and you’re incapable of doing that as well as checking all the available information before making an accusation, but give it a try. Do it for me 🥺😘 If you don’t want to look like a dumbass then CHECK THE COMMENTS, CHECK REPLIES AND CHECK THE ORIGINAL POST to see if amendments and corrections are made before going all 🤓 on people and making accusations of ‘spreading misinformation’ when many people have corrected themselves in reblogs, replies, and edits.

Act on the idea that people are not spreading this intentionally because the likelihood is they are not. For once in your fucking lives THINK I BEG YOU before jumping down the throats of Black and Arab players.
