HALLE BAILEY as ARIEL in THE LITTLE MERMAID (2023) dir. Rob Marshall
Ok but like Arin is about to be in for the rudest fucking awakening when he finally explains Ras' plan to Sora. Cuz i 100% believe that she isn't going to be down with it.
Think of that one line from season 1 where she's like "you lost everything to the Merge, but I gained everything." I dont think she's gonna be down to reverse all that Arin-
And then Soras gonna be stuck in a very very stressful situation where she either has to leave Arin again, lie to him and Ras that she's down with the plan and do nothing, or try and sabotage them somehow which also involves lying to Arin which she probably won't feel good about doing. And when he inevitably finds out he's gonna feel betrayed all over again.
Bro cannot win.

Reblog with who you get stuck with~
Lloyd makes me so aggressively emotional you don’t understand
Lloyd let Sora and Arin go because he didn’t want to tie them to a path they hadn’t chosen. He allowed them to make their own decisions, to follow their own journeys, because he knew what it was like to grow up without having that choice. He knew how much it hurt not to be able to shape your own destiny—and he didn’t want them to carry that same burden.
