Danny's adapted so much he became only half human. His ghost form can very easily adapt to pretty much anything, so his insane plan isn't so far fetched for him.

He, Sam, and Tucker steal a boat. It's technically a yacht, and it's technically Sam's parents, but they got rid of the GPS tracker and drove it out to sea until it ran out of gas.

He has Sam and Tucker ingest straight ectoplasm, and then hang out in the water for a few hours.

He's trying to trigger their liminality to make them akin to Atlanteans; able to breathe and thrive underwater, but still able to go to land if the need arose.

They develop mer tails instead.

Danny and Ellie had majorly screwed up. Now here they were in the hydro-electric car Danny had designed for applying to Wayne industries/whoever would give a fifteen year old a fat paycheck, sitting in the middle of Gotham, at night, surrounded by glaring bats.

Crap.

Time to bullshit his way out of this.

He looked at Red Robin and sheepishly grinned, "...hi dad."

Ellie, the little gremlin, didn't even hesitate before adding, "We are so grounded. I told you we shouldn't have messed with the broken time machine but nooo."

The bats were either taken about or cackling and Danny to this chance to put the petal to the metal and get out of there

Tim is now obsessed with finding his future kids.

These fics were genuinely so. What the fuck. Oh my god. I came into it not expecting too much and I came out of it like ahjhsihfs. I’m so so upset that it isn’t finished, that too right before the last chapter. There are so, so many good aspects to this fic. First off: the plot and its delivery. The idea of switching places with a past version of yourself is not an uncommon plotline. However, having the story be split into two stories following both the past and the present with each chapter parallelling each other was flawlessly executed. I would read one chapter where they would do xyz which affected the past, and then be so excited to see what happens next, and then be even more excited that I could simply read how it happened in the past. It felt like I was time itself, reading through parts of these characters' lives non-linearly. The KL chemistry is beautiful, the plot is beautiful, I sincerely love it.

Jason: (target) and his wife sucked at the game, Im pretty sure he called her by his girlfriend's name at one point

Tim: *rolls his eyes* so we won

Jason: yep, we won and got upgraded to the honeymoon suite.

Tim: one bed.

Jason: one heart-shaped bed.

Tim: what we didn't realise was that the game show was being broadcasted on daily repeat throughout the ship

Jason: we were definitely fan favorites

Tim: everywhere we went, people cheered for us and one time they chanted for us to kiss

Jason: I did it for the free alcohol

Tim: ANYWAYS so yeah B, that's why we need to book the honeymoon suite at (5 star hotel in Europe) while we continue the mission and get matching rings.

Jason: yep, and I want an engagement present from everyone.
