I never thought about this before. The funniest part is that Evan KNOWS Jared is trying to look cool and he knows that Jared insecure but still convinced that Jared hates him. Quotes from the novel:
"He acts like he’s the shit, but he’s not totally convincing." "He still hasn’t looked at me (or a vagina, I’m guessing)" “Your ‘Israeli girlfriend’”— I make the air quotes so he doesn’t miss my point— “and your ‘buddies’ from camp? I’ve never heard you once mention any of their names.”
also that evan's idea of how to be lifechangingly successful at a first impression with his crush involves dryly going up & talking to her while also seeming so profoundly unrattled by doing so that he doesn't already know her name & will get it wrong even the first time due to how concerned he is with so many other things, & this will appeal so much....& then there's jared's approach to talking to evan on the first day of school going up to him with a practiced swagger only the deeply insecure can truly pull off & sure it's established he knows evan's name & secrets but he so obviously is coolly unconcerned with all evan's shit despite initiating this exchange. & what an asshole
i love this series of events so much :
ian makes coffee for himself, mickey steals it, ian kissed him and just makes himself a new cup
then ian makes toast for himself, mickey steals it. ian lets him.
I do the exact same thing for Kleinsen T^T.
How did she take him back XD. Evan said "I wish we could have met now. Today. For the first time." They did not get back together.
i want to go back in time & kill whoever the first person was to say evan just lied "to get into zoe's pants" because that isnt what happened . im so tired of seeing ppl say that
Love this!
Me too
I love psyduck
@lezbianxion
Nearly finished with their designs. Hopefully, I can rig one of them soon.
They're toxic but it's what makes them interesting.
i cannot read a kyman fanfic if it isn’t mutually toxic as hell 👎 why are they calling eachother sweetheart and darling…
Yeah, that makes sense. Also "He did bad things, but I don't think he's a bad person." is so true. He feels guilty about what he done and tries to improve himself. I think he's a morally gray character but not an evil character. I truly believe he wanted to help the murphy's at first but then his motive changed like how he told Jared they didn't need emails anymore. He's a 3-dimensional character and people shouldn't simplify him.
Blocking this account and its constant dog shit analysis and understanding of Evan as a character counts as self care by the way.
