laurel remembered spending a day’s worth of her paycheck just to buy a sturdy and worthy hard hat with a light mount specifically reasoning that it would be absolutely necessary for hers and roman’s cave explorations. they had yet to find any buried treasure but it was more about the moment and experience than the actual discovery. “after all, isn’t what we discover about ourselves at the end what it’s really about?” she murmured to herself. she turned to the doctor with a smirk. “remember, wear your hard hat anywhere but your head.”
liv-rivera:
Liv burst out laughing at her follow-up question, now she had to know what this girl was up to. “As thrilling as it would be to fuck a fictional serial killer- I’m gonna go with pass,” Liv shook her head before taking a big gulp from her iced caramel macchiatto. “Okay- what are these questions for?”
“For the sole reason that I love getting to know more about you.” Laurel laughed, nudging Liv’s shoulder a little. “If you could fuck any cartoon, who would it be?”
drpippaguo:
“I know it’s weird, right? I have no idea why but when I get in a weird place or need to unwind it’s a glass of red wine and a horror film. I mean, if you’re offering you’re in for one hell of a ride.”
“I think probably Scream? Like I said, the camp just gets me. Plus I have no idea what I’d do if I was left with someone possessed by a demon or whatever.”
“I’m offering only on contingency that you pay me every day you release your tensions. I gotta pay my bills, Doc.”
“Then again in Scream you can’t trust anyone because it’s usually the least likely person to be the killer. You’re always on your toes.”
Rory: I WAS MAKING HIM A GAY FAN
Laurel: Needs more context.
★ ━ ( alisha boe, cis female, she/her ) ━ ★ just to be clear, ya didn’t get this information from me. The person you’re lookin’ for is LAUREL JANE WALKER (NEÉ MATLIND). also known as LJ. Last I heard they were born on JUNE - 29 - 1994 in BALTIMORE, MARYLAND, and they’ve been livin’ here in RICHMOND, for about FIVE YEARS. Word around the districts is, LJ can be ALOOF, IMPATIENT, and QUICK-TEMPERED, but alls I seen is good things, like the fact that they’re LOYAL, SELF-SUFFICIENT, and RESOURCEFUL, but guess that depends on how well ya know ‘em. The last thing ya need to know is that they work as an ASSISTANT MANAGER FOR CROSSROADS MUSIC and I don’t know much about what that’s like but I do know that’s all I can tell ya the rest you gotta find out on ya, own.

thomas-nakamura:
“Do you mean other than street artists?” Thomas asked. “Is it bad if I say I discover them all on Instagram? I follow Pace Taylor pretty closely. They graduated with a BFA a couple years before I did. And, uh…. Becca Klassey for simple paintings. Anisa Asakawa? I’m sorry. Does that make me not an authentic wanderer?”
“How does one define an authentic wanderer?” She mused, wiping away the pretzel salt on her lips with the back of her hand. “Have you created any street art?”
if you could change one thing about your store, what would it be?
“Our way of advertising... The owner is a little... older so they haven’t gotten as on board with posting on social media and making it more accessible to our generation. Also, broadening our music inventory. Not to mention, music considered oldies these days are music that were released in the 90s instead of the 70s and 60s. We’re approaching a different timeline in which if we want kids, teenagers and those in their early 20s to start shopping nostalgically we’ve got to offer music in which they consider nostalgic.”
