I wanted to share some of my favourite replies to this post, to maybe further explain it better. I do not mean obsessively “curate” every aspect of your life, but rather take care of those aspects that could help your life turn into something beautiful TO YOU. I simply intended to list a few aspects that could be targeted. In addition, you should do what you can do, balancing your wellness and your obligations.
I covered the usernames of all the kind people who left such beautiful examples for privacy, as I do not wish for them to be wrongfully attacked or their words taken about of context, so if you guys wish otherwise let me know and I will add due credits.
Curate everything.
Curate your hygiene routine, curate your clothing items, curate your home, curate your habits, curate your nutrition, curate your environment, curate your circles, curate you socials, curate the content you consume, curate your social skills, curate your financial situation, curate your emotions, curate the version of you that shows up in public, curate your hobbies, curate your knowledge.
Idk how many people know about this but Harvard offers a bunch of free courses every semester & they are genuinely so cool & such a good resource!
My goal for the new year is to appear before the throne of God more boldly. I want to have mountains-moving faith, and ask God for things as big as I want, regardless of how “realistic” they may seem to others. I’m no longer interested in approaching God from a fearful or weary perspective, I’m choosing to be confident before him.
I’m choosing to put my trust in the one who has no limits and has stated that his plans for me are to prosper me and to give me hope. I trust to believe that he sees my obedience and devotion towards him, and that he rewards those sacrifices tenfold by giving us the desires of our hearts.

The prettier, smarter, talented, put together, well groomed you are, the smaller your dating pool gets. Majority of the time, you’ll get approached by absolute dodos who think they’re in your league but they fail to do so. And you go for these men because they make you laugh or whatever. Then these kind of dodos get even more ridiculously confident because a pretty 10/10 girl thinks they’re the shit. And then they start acting up.
Very rarely will you come across a man who is intellectually competent and on the same level/ greater level as you. However, you might push this one away because he may not fit the bill with other things, often superficial.
Date men that are only a part of your intellectual and emotional intelligence league or greater. Never, ever date down. If he’s not wealthy but has the potential to be - and is actively putting in that work - then consider him.
“But investing is hard! But I do not want to break up, because then I’ll be alone! But learning is for few selected people! But I do not have time! But people will stare! But that sounds hard!”
But struggling is alright? K.

Some people can ignore their obligations for weeks, but not you. Some people let opportunity pass for lack of trying, but not you. Some people are content to wade through confusion and disorganization to finish every minor task, but not you. Some people are ok with wasting their precious time on endless distractions, but not you. Some people don't address their issues, but not you. You give a damn. You want to fucking do better.
That's what makes you different.

I genuinely feel ashamed that all I can do is write words while more and more Arab people die - but momentum for fundraisers is one of very few things any of us can do at the moment
Please donate to the Sameer Project. They are doing amazing work on the ground. Try to do what you can. Sharing and donating as little as 5 dollars can culminate into a big difference. I have enough of a following to know that we can make a truly big difference if this didn’t simply go ignored bc people decided they’re bored now
