@radio-ramblings had a few questions about my zombie flower apocalypse, but Tumblr destroyed the inbox message D: ANYWAY more notes below based on what I remembered!

Not all zombies respond to scents the same way, so some of them can still be aggressive even when adorned with flowers.

There are different types of Blooming zombies! The ones pictured above are called Flutters; their flowers attract swarms of butterflies. Disturbing the swarm will distress the Flutter, causing nearby undead to become aggressive.

There’s also another variant that serves as a walking beehive. It takes a lot of effort from Florists to herd those ones away because of the bees.

Camping outdoors is safer than other zombie settings, but it’s still dangerous. Most folks try to sleep in trees and high ground.

Restaurants and other eateries are strict as not to let savoury scents of meat attract zombies.

Este.. la verdad yo estuve pensando un poco sobre una idea de fusión entre Mario Bros y las gemas de Steven universe pero de momento solo pensé en Mario como un Rubí y Luigi cómo un peridot pero aún no tengo idea de que podrían ser los demás en cuanto a gemas, y de momento solo tengo un diseño conceptual o una "base" de cómo posiblemente se verían los dos siguiendo el mismo tipo de diseño que las gemas de la serie solo que algo adaptados para que se vean más a ellos, ¿Tienen alguna sugerencia o idea sobre que gema les quedaría bien a los demás como bowser, Peach, Daisy, toads y así?, También tenía pensado en que posiblemente los monarcas sean como los diamantes de ese universo.

Um... the truth is, I was thinking a bit about a merger idea between Mario Bros and the Steven Universe gems but for the moment I only thought of Mario as a Ruby and Luigi as a peridot but I still have no idea what the others could be As for gems, and at the moment I only have a conceptual design or a "base" of how the two would possibly look like following the same type of design as the gems in the series, only somewhat adapted to make them look more like them? Zombie setting where the undead are drawn towards unhygienic scents, so survivors constantly bathe to avoid being eaten.

Zombies are docile when adorned with flowers.

Settlements overgrown with herbs and flora.

Barely any banditry; everyone is focused on farming and gathering.

Different human factions and towns named after flowers like Lilies, Orchids, Roses, etc.

Instead of immediately killing an infected survivor, they’re given special funeral rites - the zombie is covered with flowers to keep them calm, and  allowed to walk out from the settlement to join the hordes.

Update:

Little glimpse at an upcoming Irken oc reference sheet.

I have the headcanon that the Irkens have a mark or seal on the back of their heads that indicates their functions or what they are, Obviously, that mark was created through genetic modification and changes over time until it reaches a stage of "permanence" where it reaches a point where the role they have is permanent.
