What a vibe of a movie
TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY (1991)
Watching John with the machine, it was suddenly so clear. The terminator would never stop. It would never leave him, and it would never hurt him, never shout at him, or get drunk and hit him, or say it was too busy to spend time with him. It would always be there. And it would die to protect him. Of all the would-be fathers who came and went over the years, this thing, this machine, was the only one who measured up. In an insane world, it was the sanest choice.
the hawthorn-white rose of understood melancholic faith,
primitively exuding the lactational scarlet liquid of death:
markings etched upon rhinestones as symbolic offering,
misaligned & mismanaged, the depth of human psyche,
shortcomings of tortuously soulful repetitions of envy,
copper rewiring embedded within crystalline calamity,
marble woven fabric draped over the faces of angels;
for healing is found within the harsh reality of nature.

single file down to a riverside boat launch. haze hangs heavy on mind & surface alike. a trail wanders off, i meander, in search of a spot to rest this head, always buzzing, for a moment until the barrage resumes. no cover except the trees i find promise in. no questions to beg, no retort to save face. only leafy shade, under which, their searchlights cannot find me.
I’m making collages, sharing pictures of mushrooms and nature I take. Beers/comics❤️.https://substack.com/@ryanplaffertyI’ll add some Gonzo style google reviews
