don’t know the words to explain properly but part 3 of ck was so incredibly bad and just so rushed.

it didn’t feel like a series finale to the show. it just felt like the end of a season or a ‘too be continued’ or a ‘next time’

i enjoyed the fights in this part, samtory, keenry.. that’s all i think.

so, gonna just quickly talk about the things i had an issue with:

i don’t think the sekai taikai should have continued into part 3, or it should’ve been done differently. like a kid died.

continuing on a kid dying, it’s a month skip and none of the teens show any signs of trauma or caring that kwon died?

i went in dead set on thinking that they’d be having issues with seeing someone die and he’s just not mentioned, and they just wanted to continue the tournament no questions asked … weird

tory and johnny have no idea that kreese had passed away :(

no core four goodbye scene? what do you mean sam is off to okinawa with miguel, did robby and tory even manage to say goodbye to them?

devon and kenny having zero lines was actually crazy lol. also, tory and devon having a mentor and mentee relationship thing same with robby and kenny and there were zero scenes with them

we know tory and robby obviously were talking and had a reconciliation but we only saw them talk in episode 13.. why are they having conversations off screen

it way way too adult focused sue me. i’m aware that AMA said that part 3 was more adult oriented but baby i was not ready for how much lol.

see what happens when you have a big cast, try to fit shit into 5 episodes each not going over an hour.. ?? a mess happens

no graduation scene

no reactions to tory and robby’s career

tory not saying ily back to robby

like.. are they serious bruh. and i’ve said this so many times but it all boils down to having shitty writing. and the fact that there should’ve been 20+ episodes in a season with over and hour run time and better writers

cause you’re telling me that, THAT was the ending? ok.

but what about:

-surf trip

-us against the universe

-the parental angst

-giving the victim a chance at a good life?

-I’m still in shock.

-why give us any of this???? Why even bother with Jiara for this?

crying i just realised something..

they made tory lonely asf in season 5, by herself, no boyfriend, no friends. only had devon and kreese fr, (barely even kreese if i’m being honest) also dealing w guilt

was essentially abused by her sensies and was forced to punch stone, which broke her hand.

THEN, they had her happy for 4 episodes in season 6, THEN THEY KILLED HER MOTHER. she goes back to cobra kai, she doesn’t fw her team, lonely AGAIN, disqualified from tournament, teammate died in front of her..

like when will she catch a break good god. like, this is just tragedy, after tragedy 😭

they said here go tory 4 seconds of happiness, back to being miserable 😭😭

Ever since the end of season 4/beginning of season 5 the writers love to do this thing where they state Robby and Johnny are on good terms now and how Johnny is all of a sudden a good dad now, yet don't actually show us said scenes.

we waited that long for a trailer that was 90% flashbacks and 10% sekai taikai and other things.

alrighty then i guess … ? 🙃

all that trailer really did is confirm multiple leaks. *sigh*

still seated for february 13th though.

The biggest issue with part 1 and part 2 is how they use plots that require follow through, and yet they never do.

So, Tory left her underaged brother alone a week or two after their mom died and just flew off?? Do the writers even remember there's a little brother depending on her?

And now we have everyone having watched a kid die... Are they just gonna be okay?

And I can never forget about Robby. The kid who grew up with alcoholic parents, he kept watching his mom flirting and depending on different men every week, and we just brushed it all with him moving with the Larussos.

Now, he drinks for the first time, and he drinks so much, he blacks out and someone takes advantage of him. I doubt we're gonna bring that up though.

I understand this is a karate show. But some problems require talking.

PLEASE LET THE PEOPLE TALK THROUGH THEIR FEELINGS

And I get the grownups are set in their ways and won't resolve any issues.

But you make every kid ready and willing to speak to Tory but somehow they don't talk, no one apologizes to Kenny or Devon, they just move forward, Demetri keeps talking but never says anything. Even the new guy Axel would benefit from just discussing his issues.
