Finally I’ve gotten a good understanding of how different brushes handle different textures. I am quite proud of this one, I think it looks really good, and looks rather realistic in textures. More catchup. This project was playing more with lighting, different colouring options, and backgrounds. I felt like bob ross doing this one~. Karuta time!

Starting today I’m going to be translating the Karuta Cards from Sinbad no Bouken. As always, this is an amateur translation. I’ll do them in sets by letters as they become available to me. First up the H set.

Ha- It is good to have the king form one leaf. は王誕生葉つぱ一枚あればいい。

Hi- Pipirika loves her sister-in-law and brother. ピピリカは義姉さん兄さん大好きだ。

Fu- Fatima is the head slave of Mariadel Company ファチマーはマリアデル商会の奴隷長。

He- Snake meat is a valuable food to eat. へびの肉貴重な食料召し上がって。

Ho- The truth is I really want to be friends. ほんとうは仲良くなりたいほんとだよ。

A picture I coloured of Zeus. I don’t own the original line art. The original art is done by Elias-chatzoudis on Deviant art. It can be found here. The colouring and background are my own work. My major point with this image was the background. Though I quite liked doing the glows.
