i enjoyed drawing no-makeup, slightly disheveled hua cheng bc i always draw him all done up and like >:) so it was nice for a change for him to be :’(
it’s been 800 years and hua cheng is confident in his abilities and power and i’m sure his looks as well. maybe it’s not the exact same insecurities as when he was a kid, and he could care less about what people think about him now, especially since they’re beneath him. but wanting to always be his best and look his best for xie lian.. 🥺 because he believes xie lian deserves everything and more.. IS SO SWEET WEHH but xl loves him sm and he’s always beautiful to him and-
