In season 1, when Nick cancelled their date and said he felt like he had been stifling a part of himself and asked if she understood, she said yes.
In season 2, she said that she had very quickly gotten over Nick and casually announced that she had a crush on Ben now. I remember passively being reminded of when I would "pick" a boy to have crush on. As soon as one - like Nick - wasn't available anymore, you just pick a new one.
She was always there. I love her.
Boy crazy comphet lesbian Imogen, you have my heart.
So, I've had the most roller-coaster of a ride with religion. At this point, I just don't care. They're all real. They're all there in the world, and when you die, you go to where you believe. Because I've had enough about religion because there's too many in the world and it's confusing.
But that's not the point. So I decided to put up my Hades, Aphrodite, Loki, Apollo, and Hermes alters up.
Before I decided to do that, I brought some 18+ dice for some fun, and just why not, and that was before I decided to put the alters back up.
Explain to me... why I felt drawn to giving Loki those dice, with the explanation of how to use those dice on his alter with three fidget toys near it and a (porcelain?) goose with its head smashed??? He/They/She/It (whatever Loki identities as) is really showing their chaos already!
Remember,
You are a practicing pagan. You don't have to do spell work everyday. You don't have to talk to your deities everyday. You don't have to spend every waking second focusing on your practice to be a valid pagan.
Your valid. No matter how often you're able to work with your deities. No matter how often you do spell work. No matter if you dedicate little or big things to your practice.
You make an effort once in awhile and thats more than enough. Save your spoons, it's ok.
cherishing the things that bring you peace is so important. doodling ugly creatures. listening to brown noise. rereading the same books. rediscovering hymns and religious texts from your childhood. doing your makeup just to erase it. not everything has to have a deeper meaning or purpose, and not everything you do has to be for a more complex reason than how it makes you feel in the moment.
"He felt a sense of comfort staring at the void, the void never lied, the void was predictable and was never something it wasn't. It was real and true."
You are energy, your soul is energy, your consciousness is energy, and your subconscious is energy. Energy can not be destroyed, and it can't die. You have a vessel, a physical body which can die, but YOU, Your energy, your soul can't truly die. YOU are eternal. Your body isn't.
When someone dies, it can be good to remind yourself that their energy, their soul, and their subconscious/consciousness won't die. Their body will, yes, but the essence of their souls, what makes them who they are won't die. Death is only a transformation. It's not the end.
I think my beliefs that when someone dies, you get to choose where you want to go has helped with that just a little. For examples: If you believe in Norse paganism, you'll be able to live in Valhalla and feast amongst the gods if Odin believes you lived a life worthy of that. If you have a polytheistic belief, you will go to the underworld and get a coin as payment for Charon, who will take you across the river Styx. If you believe in Buddhism or in reincarnation, you'll get reincarnated over and over again until you achieve peace or because you want to experience life again and again. If you're an atheist, then you can live into the void or come back to earth as a spirit if you want to, etc.
Anyhow I hope this has helped someone out, like it has me.
"She was playing in a roaring river. She had chosen to stay, she believed it was the right choice. But it didn't make this any easier."
I don’t think we are meant to fear the Gods. Not even Gods of storms, death, or war. To believe in them is to accept them as they are. Don’t let anybody convince you that polytheists should fear the Gods. Be awe-struck, be humble before them if it feels right, but in this modern day and age, spirituality shouldn’t feel unsafe.
So when you're about to shift, I love that feeling of not being in your reality and that pull you feel. So, for context last night, I finished my second script, spoke out loud some affirmations and then I played a video on YouTube called "SHIFT EASIER WITH THIS| 3 hours + Affirmations for Reality shifting" by Alunir Meditations. I did, and I felt like my environment was changing, like someone just put me in the air, and I was trying to pull me forward. I was slightly panicking because I've never felt that before, but can I say right now I LOVE that feeling! That feeling of being pulled and feeling like you're not exactly in your original reality. I almost shifted, and I'm so happy about it! I almost did! I fully recommend that YouTube video to listen to throughout the day or at night for shifting!
So I did a channelled reading using tarot and Oracle cards for my desired reality s/o in my Peaky Blinders' desired reality. As I've heard about people doing this so I decided to do it.
I asked how my s/o saw our relationship and the cards I got back were that he basically saw our relationship that is full of love but lots of arguments and conflicts because of how stubborn we both are.
I then asked him what he wanted to say to me and how he felt about me, and I got an Oracle card that literally said, "Fall into my arms" and then got a card that was talking about feeling homesick for a place and/or person and then I got a card saying that what I want to do will happen sooner than expected. There was a card, i forgot what it was called, but it immediately said under it: "Loyalty, love, trust and safety."
I then asked if he loved me, and I got four cards that were strongly saying yes.
I then asked one last question of, "How do you feel that I'm shifting to my Peaky Blinders' desired reality to see and be with you?" I got cards saying that he felt slightly anxious because he wanted to make sure that I'm making the right choice, but otherwise, he felt truly and deeply loved.
EVERYONE!!! FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FIVE YEARS TRYING TO SHIFT, I FINALLY HEARD A NOISE FROM MY DESIRED REALITY WHEN I WAS TRYING TO SHIFT LAST NIGHT!!! I KNOW I DID BECAUSE IT SOUNDED TO CLOSE AND NOTHING IN MY ROOM OR AROUND ME CAN MAKE THAT NOISE!!! I'M SO HAPPY!!!
