Continuing the theme of grown-up characters, I drew Amber. I'm so proud of her arc of becoming the crown princess and so I really wanted to draw her as the queen (of my heart).

Even though it's not full length, I still played with the details of her outfits because, unlike Sofia, her style is more festive, I think. She seemed to have stepped out of a ceremonial portrait, and this is due not only to Amber’s love for jewelry, but also to her status. I see her as a wonderful queen, so much so that even her appearance is flawless.

Like i swear you will be happier with the show if you just rewrite it instead of arguing with people about it. be a happy hater it will change ur life (coming from someone who did the same thing. and i’m not even a writer like that. u seem like your good at writing judging by ur posts dude

Thanks for the comments about my writing, I really do appreciate. I love writing and stories and such, and really do wish I could make the next Hazbin Hotel, but I'm a minor rn so tumblr posts is the best it's gonna get right now

But I really am pretty happy (as happy as you can get with severe depression lol). I guess something about my tone makes people think I'm frothing at the mouth, screaming at my screen, and punching the air whenever people "argue with me." (I'm not trying to say you specifically, but a lot of people tend to think I'm angrier or meaner than I'm trying to be.) I swear guys, it's the autism, I actually have a lot of fun debating.

I do like Hazbin Hotel. a lot. I might even say I'm a fan, despite all its issues. A lot of these "arguments" are just debates, my largest one being with someone who's now a mutual. I think the problem is that a lot of critics can't say their opinion without being called whiny or nitpicky, and I think that's something all fandom can work on. What I'm trying to say is: I'm very happy with my place in the fandom. I enjoy the show, and enjoy analyzing it. Criticism ≠ hate :)

I wrote this for a freshman year English assignment

December 26 I opened my eyes

a sweet summer sky full of wonder

a sparkling shore swimming with marine life and acute awareness

At two years old I tried to join my sister's class

they said I wasn't ready; I could have been ready

Six years old I was a student

reading novels, doing advanced math, a social butterfly

mom's perfect daughter

i couldn't have been ready

Twelve, a hurricane

waves hitting, a freight train shattering every bone in the body

disease striking the world, pain striking my mind like no twelve year old should know

my first thoughts of ending it, deep cuts engraving once perfect skin

tears shed, friends lost, incessant dread lurking as the Grim Reaper breathes down my neck

Fifteen, will I ever be ready

newfound friends, love, a new sense of belonging

but still i bleed, they scream, and together we weep, knowing I could have been more

i am drowning in that ocean, burning in the sun

look what's come of be, a wreck, a disaster in the making

I finished reading Charlie is a bad person post and now I'm just over analyzing. It annoys me how Charlie is the Princess of Hell and has no experience of fighting. How the hell is Lucifer ok with the sinners looking down at his own daughter? Why doesn't he have her get used to her powers and explore it? She's over 200 years old and she knows jackshit about her powers. He basically crippled her.

And on another note regarding Val. Doesn't he technically own Angel's soul? If so, let's say Angel was teting to actually redeem himself. Wouldn't he still have to retrieve his soul back from Val? Wouldn't it be awesome if Charlei goes for a round 2 of meeting Val and tries forcing Val to give up Angel's soul back to him. How can she redeem sinners if they don't have his soul

I think Charlie's been looked down on by the people in Hell is supposed to like, make her seem like an underdog? She's super privileged, and is basically a white savior, but I think the point is that she's "just like the sinners" but it was portrayed really badly. Like, Overlords are more respected than their King and creator's daughter. And for the Sin of Pride, how seems awfully ashamed of him and his daughter.

I also think about this a lot. While I don't expect Charlie's going to suddenly fix everyone's problems or save everyone, she doesn't seem to be trying. In six months she has made no progress towards helping Angel. We know overlords can be killed, but does killing them free all their souls? Or is there some sort of Overlord Will they have to write saying who gets these souls? Does Charlie have the power to override the contract? Does Lucifer? Can Overlords willingly end their contract, or is it a no-take-backs kind of a thing? If Overlords can end contracts, why doesn't Charlie order Alastor to gain Angel's soul, then set him free? Why don't Lucifer or Charlie challenge Val for Angel's soul, then free him? Hell, put an end to the ownership of souls. They could absolutely challenge every overlord for the souls they own, then set these souls free? We know so little about Overlords. Is Charlie doing literally everything she can to help Angel? We don't know, because we don't anything about how his contract works. But this lack of information just makes it seem like Charlie doesn't care to help Angel
