dc is severely under utilizing the fact that hal jordan is a california boy from a place literally called coast city
give me surfer boy hal who dresses like he's always on a boardwalk. give me hal who still says "stoked" and "rad" and uses the hang loose hand gesture and keeps sunscreen in his pocket. have him constantly drop ocean creature facts and offer to take the alien gl's snorkeling.
there's so much material for that and it would be so fun
seeing new people in the pjo fandom is interesting cuz on one hand it’s like “this is cool!! new people to share similar interests with!” and then you read they’re dumb opinions based on the show or the movies
like i don’t really care for the movies and i love the show with everything in me but pls pls pls pls pls read the books!! its like everyone has a different set of knowledge because they’ve only seen/read one form of the story
the books are the best form anyway 😋
i think abt this so often.
if jason was screaming himself hoarse in his coffin, wouldn’t clark have heard it and been like “huh. weird. there’s someone screaming six feet under” ????????? like bros the only one with super hearing he has one fucking job
friendly reminder that my fic is gonna continue to be riddled with em dashes and not because I use fucking AI :)
whenever i read batfam fics where tim’s parents are horribly abusive i get so confused?? cuz like i read his og origins and then the new 52 and i don’t remember his parents being like that?
like they were def neglectful and that is a form of abuse but like they didn’t hit him and they def never did some of the HORRIBLE stuff i see people write. i mean his parents weren’t necessarily good but they loved him fs! so where did that come from?? 🤔
i think that sasuke uchiha and regulus black are, startling enough, the same person.
the fans who didn’t like the batman 2022 just didn’t pick up a single batman detective comic. that’s it. end of conversation.
this day will go down in history as the day jhope was discharged and liam payne died
with wonka, mean girls, and hunger games, theatre kids have pretty much taken over the industry 😋
i really liked dark knights of steel but bruce being clark’s half brother really threw me off. like i know that it was supposed to be medieval and stuff so it didn’t rlly matter if ‘batman’ had powers but it feels like it goes against his character??
like he’s literally supposed to be this unnaturally powerful person DESPITE not having powers amongst all these god like beings of creation and strength. that’s what makes him stand out and what makes him ten times scarier!!
i also didn’t rlly like how the robins were written :( i hate hate HATEEEEE when they’re written to be his employees. its such a watered down version of their purpose but wtv nothings perfect.
