Need a long Elmo of my own
I hear that a new game appeared, so let’s show our love with demon fan art, like so.
Like I know that it’s one of the new indie game hits, but when I first saw fan art of the game on Twitter, which would also be my first exposure to its existence, I was confused on why it was tagged mouthwashing, like to people like me who didn’t know it was a game, it felt threatening like what’s happened to the mouthwash, why are people drawing a man that looks like Joshua Graham, is this some kind of ad with the doctors approved thing and the one that didn’t approve was tormented or something, are the other people the other doctors, is this a trend, why is this so vague and why are people drawing it?
Like how was I supposed to know at the time that it was a game, I didn’t see anything on my recommendations or feeds about it, these game just pop out of nowhere from time to time.
I kinda find it hard nowadays to get too invested in any media like comics, shows, movies, or games.
Like there are people talking about media in a multitude of ways, mostly hate due to being the louder part, and there are a few that are actually just joining fandom without prior knowledge, like there was a guy on twitter who just got into jojo, which is incredible with how often it’s referenced.
But with all the discussions, spoilers, and videos and threads about topics, I can’t get the same sort of excitement unless I get into a old, untouched by many media, or one that just released.
I know that the easiest solution is “get off social media”, but I’m just stuck because it’s kinda like an addiction, I can put it down, but not too long, and something in my head just says “keep it on you at all times” like watch a vid when eating, play music or a show you won’t watch for background noise, look at memes to feel emotions that isn’t stress, actually finish work on the computer. I’m too mentally reliant on media to just walk away and even if I’m not looking for spoilers, I’ll find it anyways.
In the end, I’m not going to be like other fans, like I can join in on discussions or share ideas, but I won’t feel the surprises or emotions others will.
This is probably a me problem, but I need to do this to get this outta my head. I find things leaving my head if I draw/write them into something else.
If anyone sees this, have a good day.
Okay, it seems when we do a Tumblr sexyman tournament, the winner takes the power of the rest and, in turn, sends it to our world where someone ends up dying.
Said person who died, seems to be judged neither by morality, but by status, with the recipients being a queen and a pope. We’re 2 for 2, not a lot, but the pattern is there.
I think we can weaponize this. Let’s make more sexyman polls at an increased rate and hope that this probable Death Note hits our more problematic people like our president and the tech idiot.
We'll eventually hit them if we throw enough shots at their direction, so let’s see the hell we can raise with our Blorbos.
