Summary ; It’s been a year since the SQUIP Incident, and Jeremy and Michael are now Seniors. They decide to sign up together for a semester-long exchange program to change their highschool pace. But they were sent to a town called Hatchetfield, a strange town that has some strange properties.

How will the two deal with the change and the mysterious disappearances that happen around them? Will they learn to truly work together again after the SQUIP?

note ; this is an au i've been working on for the past few months including two musicals that i love dearly. this is going to be a jeremy heere and michael mell character study as much as it's a crossover between the two stories.

im hoping i dont lose motivation while writing since it is a pretty big project, but in a few weeks chapter 1 will be out (trust trust please hype me up i need the motivation /j)

I always thought the squip would have to block more than just Jeremy's vision to actually remove something from his perception. And the problem with blocking sensory input at the level of the sensory nerves (rather than inside the brain where the input is processed) is that... now there's just a lack of input in that area?

When you have a blind spot in your eye, your brain's actually pretty good at filling in the hole with surroundings so you don't notice. I'm not sure if the same is true of tactile nerves --- but I thought maybe the squip would just selectively mute those nerves whenever Michael touches him. So here's a comic where Jeremy notices that numbness and puts 2 and 2 together :P

Some quick facts about Lucas that might help!!

- Lucas is a very straight faced and quiet individual. He only tends to speak when he sees fit which usually comes out very monotone. (ISTP personality ifyk)

- he's 5'6 : 3

- he's not completely fluent in english but is almost there- he plays instruments for the choir (kinda like a one man percussion ifyk)

- he really likes ravioli guys (cooked or NOT he's kinda weird)

- he also has a scar on his arm that looks like this :
