Okay okay so this is actually interesting

On cats (and dogs too), as they get more white in their coat pattern, it kinda starts to creep up their body originating from their chest/underside. It’s not exact by any means, but whiting always starts from below :)

This happens for any other coat color as well, since patterns like merle and tabby generally affect only black (or black diluted to red). The final layer of “paint” on a cat or dog is white and masks all of the coloring below it.

(Based on a very meager knowledge of coat pattern/color genetics so please correct me if i’m wrong)

I had like the exact opposite dream last night lol where the grid was doing some weird grill the grid thing (so one by one) in a kitchen and lance grabbed like 10 straws from a container and was like “i’m gonna take all these straws, nobody can tell me what to do hehehe” and then very quietly he added “except fernando. he’s bossy, that one. sometimes i let him tell me what to do” with this sheepish smile and everyone Lost Their Shit

Had a weird dream involving Lance (sort of) I was at some sort of dinner or awards ceremony type thing and Lance had been invited but couldn't make it for some reason, so the organisers hired an actor to be Lance instead. Problem was the guy they got was the complete opposite of Lance - short, scrawny, ginger & bright blue eyes AND he had no clue who Lance was and just went around acting like an entitled prick using the occasion to drink as much expensive wine as possible 😭

Who knew the key to declining viewership wasn’t shit like the golden ab but instead the same thing that’s been happening behind closed doors for generations

i think the catcher should be allowed to make out with the pitcher during the mound visit. as long as they want. this would be good for morale, ratings, and the game of baseball itself

Did you know that their fur is cut like that because they were bred to go into burrows to hunt vermin and the fur on the head stops their prey from escaping over their head?

Also, their ears have the tufts so that if their prey were to bite on them, they would likely just get fur and not damage the actual ear. i love this especially b/c with most other terriers that issue was prevented with tiny and/or erect ears but bedlingtons went a different route :))))
