How do you explain to someone what supernatural is about???? Like it’s about two brothers who hunt supernatural things so it’s kinda scary… sometimes… but it’s not a horror because it’s also really funny. In addition to this it’s emotionally devastating at least 3 times a season and will have you bawling your eyes out. Even though it’s about the brothers it’s also really about family and loyalty…. Also it’s only really about ghosts and stuff for the first few seasons then we start tackling some more heavy duty stuff like angels, archangels and eventually god… who despite some people thinking may be good guys are actually the literal worst… minus the one gay angel they befriend and later call family… speaking of which the show also has some really heart wrenching romantic plot points… but is definitely not a romance…. Or is it??? Oh also Dorothy from the wizard of oz, and hitler make guest appearances…. anyways just watch the show.

West Collins is a blessing to us all.

sometimes cas is thinking and doing so many things at once he gets confused, like he’ll be in the kitchen leaning against the counter having one conversation with dean and another conversation with jack who is at the kitchen table and holding ingredients out to dean as he passes a book to sam. suddenly, dean says his name and then repeats it, and cas turns to look at dean and his eyebrows scrunch because he can’t remember why dean is looking at him like that. dean shifts forward, kissing cas’ temple as he murmurs, “you handed me the salt instead of the spatula. you alright?” and cas frowns, then nods, then moves to pick up the spatula, but dean slowly takes it from cas’ hand and he nudges cas up onto the counter so that cas is perched next to him as he says, “focus on me, yeah?” and cas gives dean a little smile and suddenly it’s a whole lot easier to think when his attention is solely on dean

I just started season 8 on my rewatch and I’m sorry but the parallel of Dean saying ‘I’ve got you’ to Cas while trying to pull him out of purgatory vs Cas saying it to dean right before the confession scene. Screaming. Crying. Throwing up.
