Honestly, I completely get the Pokemon Trainers who only carry around one or two Pokemon. Like, you have to take care of a dog that can breathe fire, or a bird that is literally made of metal, or a rat capable of powering half of a city. Imagine the maintenance required to not lose your mind. And there are people traveling with SIX???

I like how the gym leaders, elite four (including the bb league), && Geeta don't ever heal when you fight them but it does kind of take away the fun and stress of pokemon battling. Well at least for me it does. I know I felt like I was fighting a never ending stressful war when it came to the sinnoh elite four and *shudders* Cynthia.

think the reason i prefer gen vii and and so on is because of lack of having to have a pokemon to use hms.
