Something about how she was born for the throne. Something about how she may have moved on but she never forgot. Something about how the kingdom never quite forgot either. Something about how ‘The Queen Who Never Was’ still begins with ‘The Queen’.
Seeing Rhaenys at the head of a (Small) Council table, where a monarch would sit, speaking levelly and confidently whilst dragging a bunch of men clasping their swords and wine goblets, giving them a much needed history lesson and a reality check... NGL, that tickled my brain somewhat.
Just now realizing that the reason Woodman Gault recognized Sophie in the beginning of The Frame-up Job is because he’s seen Ma Mystere.
Eve Best and Steve Toussaint being absolute chaos
Am I an avid Team Black supporter? Yes.
Do I understand where the Greens are coming from? Also yes.
Aegon would have been the better choice for heir initially because a male heir would have been less contentious. That’s a simple fact. Unfortunately, he wasn’t raised to be king, Rhaenyra was, and there was no way she wouldn’t have pressed her claim.
Frankly, Viserys and Otto were responsible for this whole mess, and they are the only two characters that I actually dislike (their actors did an excellent job).
I’m starting a new collection called ‘Immortality’. Any images that makes you think about age and immortality, though these ones are specifically images where the ages are out of whack. Please add your own! I want to see as many as possible
Jacket. Hoodie. Jumper.
okay so I'm having a debate with my flatmates
are these all different things and if so what do you call them
My biggest issue with the people saying Rhaenys should have burned the Greens is the fact that they seem to be forgetting that there was no war going on yet.
Like… the Greens and the Blacks weren’t fighting, and the Greens, or at least Alicent, were still open to peace. At that point there might have been no reason to burn them. Plus, if Rhaenys was the one who killed them, she would have been acting alone, not on Rhaenyra’s behalf. It might weaken Rhaenyra’s claim to the throne.
Like she says to Daemon later, “A war is like to be fought over this, but that war is not [hers] to start.”
Ok, hear me out… I liked episode 8 but not 9.
Spoilers ahead.
I loved episode 8. Agatha agreeing to trade Billy for herself and manipulating him to get what she wanted then changing her mind at the last second bc he brought up her son lowkey fits and also shows how much like Agatha Billy is bc the whole ‘Is this how Nicky died’ moment was clear manipulation. Agatha not wanting to see Rio made sense to me, their relationship reads like one I’ve had in the past, where neither of us really liked each other (see episode 1/8), but when we spent any time with together, we fell back into old habits (see episode 4/5/6). Plus the Agathario kiss was fantastic.
9 on the other hand was confusing. I liked that the Road was a con, but other than that I just felt like I was missing most of the story. Nicky was cute, but that’s about it. And what was the difference between Agatha killing witches with Nicky and after he died? Like was killing witches keeping Nicky alive? And if so why not state that at any point? And as fun as Ghost Agatha is, there is literally no benefit to being a ghost so why would Agatha choose that? It felt like they were trying to downplay Billy’s manipulation of her to keep him ‘innocent’. Like, commit to Billy being amoral already, instead of trying to pass off all the bad stuff he does as accidents or Agatha’s fault. Interested to see where this goes in future projects.
…yes.
… is doctor who just about a person falling in love over and over again and losing their loved ones in horrible ways?
