This is a makeover of one of the first digital drawings I ever made (or drawings in general) when I was but a wee lad, some fanart of the ancient webcomic Grim Tales from Down Below that kid me used to think being the coolest thing ever made by mankind, but most importantly it was also one of those things that got me into drawing in the first place, so it has incredibly nostalgic value for me.

I remember struggling vainly, giving it my all to draw those characters as prettily as they were shown in the comic, without success...

But now, after one thousand years, I have exhumed my old drawing and finally avenged 15 years old me!

Yes, the cat is Baast.

I was trying to learn the painting style they use in Arcane with this one. Not sure if I got it, but still I am pretty happy with the result!

So I wanted to try and put the unicorn in a scenary that tried to capture Velen's gritty, ugly and gritty atmosphere. Not sure if I succeded with this first try, but I am happy enough with the result
