This is still my situation at home, with my partner.

For those who don’t know me, I’m Miriam. I’m 22. I’m a mostly-closeted trans woman in an abusive relationship. I’m trying to scrape together some funds to safely leave. A friend started a PayPal pool for me at the beginning of the year and I made this blog. Since then I’ve made some preparations, talked to a counselor, and I may have a temporary place to stay if I’m able to leave.

So, I could still use more help. Lack of money and a social safety net around me are what’s holding me back the most now. My car, despite my best efforts, is on its deathbed. At this point it would cost about as much to fix it as it’d be to scrap it and just buy another one. I still have medical bills piled up. I’d like to save up for staying somewhere more permanently someday. I’d still like to start taking steps to transition once I’m in a better place. I’d like to feel safe.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.

The cis are all like "But won't children be confused???" but every interaction I've ever had with a child who didn't know what to call me has gone verbatim exactly like this:

Hello again my lovelies, this is your gentle reminder to treat freelance artists with respect and kindness

This should all go without saying, but just incase I need to say it

If you commission an art piece from an artist, pay them with MONEY. They need money more than they need “exposure” if you agreed to pay them money in return for art, than pay them the damn money or don’t expect them to do anything for you

Remember that reblogging peoples art helps them a lot more than just liking it, it lets tons of other people see their work

If someone asks to not repost their art, then don’t, and if they do allow people to repost their art than BE SURE TO CREDIT THE ARTIST

Stealing other peoples art and trying to pass it off as your own is pathetic and rude, don’t do it

Constructive criticism is healthy for people to receive, but if your criticism on peoples art is based on bias, and or is just rude as shit than keep it to yourself

If your a fan of an artist and you have some friends who likes art it never hurts to tell your friends about a cool artist ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
