— Korea overthinking and being her worst enemy, as usual.

You knew what you were getting yourself into when you agreed to be the Avatar's girlfriend. You knew you two would get into arguments and get mad at each other, you would worry about her on those dangerous missions you didn't accompany her on. But you also knew that you two would be able to love each other, talk for hours, go on late-night rides with Naga, and just enjoy being in one another's presence.

It didn't matter if you two were going through a rough time or a great time, it was always hard finding time for each other but you two always seemed to manage. Lately, it's been getting worse, Korra has been tending to her Avatar duties not only in Republic City but outside of it as well.

She wanted to make an impact on the world and not let anyone down who was counting on her, any more than she felt like she already had. So she's been working harder than normal but it was all in good spirits.

You couldn't lie it does hurt when you have to spend many days and nights alone, without Korra by your side because she was busy. But you didn't be petty about it, instead, you cherished all the time that you two had together.

Sitting on the couch, a sigh left your mouth as you listened to the radio. Hearing the voice of the announcer as he spoke of the events that were happening during the pro-bending match. You waited in anticipation as it was the last round of the match and both teams were close to winning.

This was the only sound that echoed throughout the sitting room, your back straightened as two people were knocked off into the water. Leaving only one person on the team standing, therefore it was 3v1. You could hear the announcer get louder so you knew it was closer to the end of the match. The excitement was bubbling up inside of you.

"He's in the last ring getting closer to the edge! AND-" The radio was immediately drowned out when you heard a knock on your door. You turned the dial on the radio, turning the volume down, and stood up. Confused about who was at the door, since you were not expecting anyone.

Your feet walked you over to the door and you cracked it open, only to see who was standing on the other side. To your surprise it was your girlfriend, you quickly opened the door all the way and brought her into a hug. "Hey! Why didn't you tell me you were coming by?" you said with a smile on your face.

She hugged you back but stayed silent, soon you two parted and she walked inside, closing the door behind her. Your eyebrows furrowed when you looked at her. She didn't say anything, which was weird because she was quite talkative. Something was off with her "What's wrong?"

It was quiet for a while, all you could hear was the small noises of the outside world around you. It caused nerves and worry to fill your body because you didn't know what she was going to say.

Soon she finally opened her mouth to speak. "I know I have a job as the avatar and I love doing what I do, truly but I'm just so... tired. I work so hard, every. single. day to make people happy and for the world to be a better place but no one is ever a hundred percent satisfied, no matter what I do"

A lump started to form in her throat and tears threatened to fall from her eyes "And I'm sorry because I spend so much time worrying about other people and trying to make them happy, I've barely made time for you. god, I'm such a terrible girlfriend" She brought her hand up to her hair and ran her fingers through it "I wouldn't even surprised if you wanted to break up with me"

Your eyes softened at her as you listened to her speak. You let her finish before you spoke "Korra we may not spend a lot of time with each other but we love each other and that's what matters. It's quite frankly your job to worry about everyone, you don't have to apologize for that" You moved to wipe the tears from her eyes.

"I know but you're my girlfriend and you're way more important than any of those other people may be and I rarely get the chance to show that" She sighed but you shook your head, disagreeing with her. "You show it all the time, even when we're not with each other because you're improving the world that I live in, If it wasn't for you who knows where I would be"

"I do admit, it's hard not seeing you often but we're both trying as hard as we can to make things work with our schedules so don't beat yourself up over it" You move your arms around her neck, letting your hands drape by her back. "I love you," Korra said before she placed her hands on your waist and leaned in, kissing you.

After a few seconds, you two pulled away from each other "I love you too baby" you said and then started kissing her face repeatedly, landing one for every letter in love with you. A small smile finally appeared and she looked at you.

"Can we go lay down?" She asked and her voice was a little low, "Of course we can" And with that, the two of you went to your bedroom. Just enjoying the fact that you were in each other's presence.

A/N: I hope this is what you wanted, I didn't really know how to go about it even though it was a pretty simple request I overthink stuff a lot.

You went out to dinner with Paige and a few friends. Though the waiter couldn't stop flirting with you.

You, Nika, Azzi and Paige all followed the lady to your table, which happened to be at the back of the restaurant. You all sat down and waited for your server to come.

"I'm starving" Nika slurred out, putting her head down onto the table. You shook your head agreeing and groaned "Same, I even have a hunger headache right now. It's small but it's still there" You said.

"I'm not that hungry but I know something I could go for right now" Paige said with a small smirk, looking over at you. "What?" Nika asked as he picked her head up from the table. Paige replied with a laugh which confused everyone for a second.

Azzi threw the towel the silverware was wrapped in at Paige "I would actually like to keep my appetite for later" she said. Nika let out a fake gag. You looked at them still confused but let out a long OHH.

Until you actually got it and blush covered your face. "OH, oh... Paige stop." You said, punching her in the arm playfully. "Anyways, ignoring you two. Where's our waiter" Nika said.

"Right here" Someone said which caused everyone to look at the front of the table. A guy, looking around 18 with all black and an apron said. "Finally," She mumbled.

"Can-" Nika was about to speak until the waiter cut her off. "I'll start with you, drinks" he said and pointed in your direction. You looked over at Nika before you spoke. "Can I just get a strawberry lemonade?" You said, looking at the menu still. "Yeah, of course you can," He said. Then he took the others drink orders and walked away to get it.

"Am I crazy or did he definitely cut me off?" Nika started and Azzi looked at her and shrugged. "I don't think he did it on purpose. Probably just couldn't hear you" She said.

"mhmm" Nika said unsatisfied. "If he did, he wouldn't get his tip and that would be stupid" Paige said and looked over at you about to say something but the waiter came back, with the drinks.

He placed the drinks on the table for everyone to get. "So are you ready to order?" Everyone said yes. He started to take everyone's food order but unlike last time, he waited to take yours last.

After your order he kept his eyes on you for a few more seconds. Paige looked up at him and made a quick face of disgust “Dude can you go do your job'' She said, making him stop staring and he walked away.

"Why would you say that?" You asked, turning your attention towards Paige. "Because he was like tryna eye fuck you. And he was standing there for way too long, "she said. You sighed before you responded “He was looking at everyone when he took their orders”

“Not the way he looked at you” Both Azzi and Nika said at the same time, making them look at each other with a smile. “Exactly, thank you!” Paige said, pointing at the two of them. “I swear he was not” You mumbled.

“But he was” Paige replied, you just shook your head “Okay whatever you say”. Nika sighed dramatically “Damn, someone, who is a waiter and definitely still in high school is gonna steal your girl, what a shame”. You looked at her and rolled your eyes playfully.

Paige sighed dramatically, matching Nika before speaking “And after her attempts to get with y/n but fails guess what, you still won’t be in a relationship” She said. Nika looked at her offended and put a hand around Azzi.

“What do you mean? My girl is right here” She said, and turned her face to Azzi who shook her head. “ Yeah, no ” She said and patted Nika’s hand, softly as an apology.

Everyone continued talking and playing around with each other as you waited for the food to arrive. Eventually you all started to play crazy eight on imessage games. “How did I lose again!” You said in slight irritation.

“Hey i mean at least you have a losing streak” Paige teased. You looked at her and let out a ha ha as you guys started a new round. “Nah i’m winning this round, for sure” You said. Your girlfriend looked at you and laughed and leaned in for a kiss “No you’re not” She said before your lips connected.

Naturally you kissed her back and this lasted a few seconds before Nika groaned “Can you two stop kissing and play the game”. “And I said I would like to keep my appetite,” Azzi added. You two pulled apart and gave each other a quick peck before going back to the game.

After about another ten minutes passed the waiter came back with the food. He handed you the plate carefully and said “Be careful it's hot, we wouldn’t want a beautiful girl like you to get burnt” You scrunched your face in disgust.

“Yeah you’re right we wouldn’t want MY girlfriend to get burnt” She said with a straight face, looking at him. He slightly laughed at Paige's comment and walked away, to go to the other tables. “Weirdo” You said and Nika hummed in agreement with her mouth already full of food.

“Yeah now you see, what I'm talking about” Paige said before starting to eat her food. You shrugged your shoulders “I really didn’t see him looking at me like you all said he was. But this time, he was trying to flirt with me” You said.

You all ate your food, making conversation every now and then but mostly remained quiet. “I feel like a whole new person” She groaned in satisfaction as she finished her plate. “My headache is finally gone after hours and hours” You said.

“You two are over-dramatic,” Azzi said. The waiter came back with the checks and placed them all over the table and waited for everyone. “I don’t know why he didn’t ask before he brought out the checks, but I'm taking yours” Paige said to you, as she took your check.

“Thanks” You said and gave her a kiss on the cheek, making her smile. She pulled her card out and opened the check presenter to see how much it was and saw something on your check which made her smile drop.

She placed her card on the table and looked up at him “Bro are you serious right now?” She said, making everyone at the table, including the waiter look at her. “Are you slow? Did I not make this clear earlier?”

She turned her head to you and kissed you. Out of shock it took you a little longer to copy her actions but you did. Then she pulled away and looked back at the waiter “This is my girlfriend” She said looking dead at him.

He chuckled nervously “I didn’t know” he said, scratching the back of his neck. When those words came out of his mouth it made Paige even angrier “Yes you did, I said it earlier” She grabbed the checks and her card and gave it to him “Now go do your fucking job and get out of my face”

That was all he needed to walk away and finish the checks so you all could leave. “Woah, I mean I've heard about it but i've never actually seen Paige jealous before” Nika said in shock. “When he comes back, he better not piss me off anymore and he’s not getting a check” Paige mumbled as she put her head on your neck.
