I've found quite a few Thieves In Time rewrites over the years. I can't help but imagine how some of them would play out if my premise (Penelope joining the adventure against her will) were introduced...

This is on top of all the other "What if?" scenarios I came up with on my own...

The background colors were a pain in the ass but here is the mouse girl! I ironically have to yet draw any of the male characters in Sly Cooper but it's not my fault Penelope is so fun to draw.

So far, I'm only still at the first episode of Sly 2, but It's impressive how much Sly Cooper 2 feel like the natural growth of the characters.

Sly 1 is a "beginner" thief that rush into his ennemy's lair with barelly any preparation, coming up with plans on the fly.

Sly 2 is about an experience Thief that reworked his methods. Now, his companions are much more involved in the operations. Now he carefully stake out and test the security before going for his target. He knows all the importants move of the thievus racoonus.

And the best part? She does it all without any of the other heroes figuring out she was behind the Black Knight's creation.

And everyone ends up absolutely adoring her. Especially Bentley. He's gonna be so proud of her... The reason? She started this adventure not even wanting to go. To see her going this hard is damn impressive.

Writing this episode is going to be so much fun...

For extra fun, imagine this playing during the second phase of Raleigh's boss fight.

'Dynamic Duo' is a decent mission in an otherwise lacklustre episode, but what i really love about it is how much it develops Penelope's character. from giving her a cutie health metre (and by extent establishing lavender purple as her signature colour. iconic) to having the targets look like pieces of cheese because y'know she's a mouse

Anyway, these changes are only the tip of the iceberg...

I know making Penelope the main protagonist is a bold move, but I can't see this story going any other way. Yes, this also means making her fully playable as well.

Do you have any Ideas for Murray's character development?

As I already said in multiple posts, Murray won’t have much of an arc to go through. He’s more focused on being a good older brother towards Penelope, or “Sis” as he always calls her.

Me: Writing up Episode 0 is too hard!

Also me: I think I'll try to work on Episode 6 tonight...

That Penelope/Le Paradox boss fight is just too tempting not to start up...

I say that, and yet the only thing I've got is... "She made the first move."

The hardest part of that scene isn't how the fight plays out, but rather the dialogue between our heroine and villain.
