“Get out.”
The dimmed lights gave off an eerie glow that made Jinx shiver; but she stayed.
All that was left was his dusty picture on top of the barstool. And memories, of course, but nothing that would ever compare to the sound of his voice, laughter, or kindness. How would she manage now? The Last Drop wasn’t just a mere bar located in the heart of Zaun. It was hub for trade and honest to goodness corruption; it was a humble tavern.
“What’s with the attitude? I just came to give you this.” Ekko spat out as he threw a box on the floor, landing with a thud. He walked out the door, slamming it behind him as he spun around, grabbing the bridge of his nose and growling.
He kicked a rock that was perfectly placed in front of him as he waited.
She’d come out eventually, right?
He took advantage of the rusty wall in front of him and leaned against it, closing his eyes for a moment. He didn’t know what to do; with Jinx, that is. He knew how much Vander meant to Jinx and Vi, and since Vi had already left, she was the one who had been taking care of Vander and vice versa. It was, a sticky situation to say the least. But perhaps what hurt him more was the fact that Jinx didn’t want to talk to him. Nothing new, but it hurt more after Vander’s death.
“I FUCKING HATE YOU.”
Ekko jumped at the voice booming in front of him; he must’ve fallen asleep.
“YOU DID THIS. NOW GET OUT!!”
His eyes scrunched, “What are you talking about?? I had nothing to do with that! It was an accident, Jinx.”
“You can’t just go blaming people because you’re hurt.”
She huffed and walked back inside, slamming the door behind her with a gritty scream.

(Ch. 1.)
Chapter 1.
In the dimly lit dorm room, Jinx flopped onto her bed, surrounded by piles of dirty laundry and empty energy drink cans. Her grades had just been posted, and she was less than thrilled. A big, fat 'F' stared back at her from the screen of her laptop, mocking her. Except it was not an F, it was a C+; but at this point they’re equals. She let out a loud sigh and tossed her phone onto the bed, where it landed with a soft thud. Ekko, her roommate and fellow student, poked his head into the room. "Hey, Jinx, what's wrong?" he asked, his eyes scanning the messy space.
Jinx groaned and buried her face in her pillow, “I mayyyy or may not have failed my psychology class. Again."
Ekko chuckled and sat down beside her. "Well, you can't exactly blame yourself., You did spend most of the semester pulling pranks on Caitlyn."
Jinx lifted her head, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Hey, that's not the point, The point is I'm a freaking genius and I shouldn't be failing anything."
Ekko raised an eyebrow. "A genius? I mean, love the confidence but from where I'm standing, it looks like you're more of a..creative problem solver…”
Jinx shot him a sarcastic grin, but Ekko just laughed and ruffled her hair. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get 'em next time. Now, want to come with me to the cafe and grab some dinner?"
“Fine, but you’re paying.”
As they walked to the cafeteria, they ran into Vi, who was sitting at a table, downing a cup of coffee. "Hey, guys! What's up?"
Jinx plopped down beside her, still looking sulky, “I failed my psych class. Ekko's being annoyingly cheerful about it."
“She got a C+, it’s not that serious,” Ekko chimed in. Vi snorted, “Well, someone's got to balance out your negativity, Jinx. Besides, it's not the end of the world. You can always retake the class..or just bribe the professor with one of your infamous pranks."
Jinx perked up at the suggestion, but Ekko shot her down. "No way, Jinx, you're not bribing anyone. You're going to study hard and pass that class the honest way."
Jinx pouted, but eventually, the three of them got into a lively discussion about everything from their favorite video games to their plans for the upcoming summer break, which was another 5 months around the corner, but hey, who’s counting?
As the night wore on, Jinx found herself stealing glances at Ekko, who was laughing and joking with Vi. She couldn't help but notice the way his eyes crinkled at the corners, or the way his hair curled slightly at the nape of his neck. As they left the cafeteria, Ekko turned to Jinx and said, "Hey, I want to show you something that might help you with your schoolwork."
Jinx raised an eyebrow, intrigued
“What is it??”
Ekko grinned. "It's a game, but not just any game. It's an educational game that can actually help you with your psychology class."
Jinx snorted, "A game? You really think a game is going to help me pass my class?"
Ekko chuckled. "Hear me out, hear me out, this game is actually really helpful, and it's fun too. It's all about interactive simulations and puzzles that teach you about different psychological concepts."
Jinx shrugged, but her curiosity was piqued. "Okay, fine. Show me."
*•*•*•*•*•*•*
They walked back to their dorm room, the tension between them still palpable. As they entered the room, Ekko closed the door behind them and booted up his laptop.
"Okay, so this game is called 'Mind Loop'," he explained, opening up the game on his laptop. "It's all about building and navigating different mental landscapes, and it teaches you about different psychological theories and concepts."
Jinx watched, fascinated, as Ekko showed her the game. She was surprised by how engaging and interactive it was, and she found herself actually enjoying it. As they played, Ekko sat next to her on the floor, their shoulders touching. Jinx felt a flutter in her chest, but she tried to ignore it, focusing on the game instead. And as the night wore on, they got more and more into the game, competing with each other to see who could solve the puzzles faster. But as the hours passed, Jinx started to feel her eyelids getting heavy.
Ekko noticed and smiled. "Hey, you're getting tired. Why don't we take a break?"
Jinx nodded, and Ekko closed the laptop. They sat there in silence for a moment, the only sound the hum of the computer.
Then, without thinking, Ekko reached out and wrapped his arms around Jinx, pulling her into a hug. Jinx felt a rush of emotions, but she didn't pull away. Instead, she hugged him back, feeling a sense of comfort and security that she hadn't felt in a long time.
As they hugged, Jinx felt her eyes getting heavier and heavier. She rested her head on Ekko's shoulder, feeling his warmth and his heartbeat. And before she knew it, she was falling asleep, Ekko's arms still wrapped around her. She felt him relax, his body sinking into the floor as he fell asleep too.

•*Christmas Bomb*• ( Jinx x Ekko )
Jinx dragged Ekko to the Piltover Christmas market, determined to get him into the holiday spirit. Ekko grumbled and complained, but Jinx just laughed and pulled him along, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Make it quick Jinx, I don’t wanna get chased away by the enforcers..”
As they walked through the stalls, Jinx insisted on trying every single festive food, from sugary cookies to spicy cider. Ekko watched, amused, as she made a mess of herself, powdered sugar covering her nose and cheeks. Jinx grinned, “Look Ekko!! I’m Santaaaaa!!!”
Finally, they arrived at a small, quirky stall selling handmade gifts. Jinx's eyes landed on a tiny, explosive-looking ornament, and she squealed with delight. "Ekko, Ekko, look! A bomb-ornament! It's perfect for us!"
Ekko raised an eyebrow. "You can't be serious. That's just a recipe for disaster."
Jinx pouted, but Ekko could see the spark of mischief in her eyes. He sighed, and handed over the hexes to buy the ornament.
As they walked away, Jinx turned to Ekko and grinned. "Merry CHAOSMAS, Ekko!"
Ekko rolled his eyes, but a smirk appeared on his face, "You're something else, Jinx."
And then, without warning, the ornament exploded in a shower of glitter and coloured paper, covering them both in a mess of colourful confetti.
Jinx laughed, spinning around in circles, her eyes shining with joy. Ekko couldn't help but laugh too, pulling her into a warm, confetti filled hug.
“Hahaha!!”
"Merry Christmas, Jinx" he whispered as he held her, his voice full of affection.
Jinx grinned, her face coated in glitter, "Best. Christmas. Ever."
A Very Pika Christmas
(With Ash and Serena)
~*•*•.•*~The Pokémon Center was buzzing with holiday cheer as Ash and Serena worked together to decorate the Christmas tree. Ash was in his element, recklessly hanging ornaments, while Serena was being her usual meticulous self, carefully arranging the decorations to achieve the perfect balance of color and sparkle (It’s a Science, as she likes to say). ~*•.•*•*~
"I'm telling you, Serena, the more lights, the merrier!" Ash exclaimed, holding up a string of twinkling fairy lights.
Serena raised an eyebrow, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "Ash, if we add any more lights, the tree is going to be visible from space."
Ash grinned. "That's the idea! We want to make sure Santa can find us from a galaxy away."
Serena chuckled, shaking her head. "You're impossible."
Just then, Pikachu, who was sitting on Ash's shoulder, suddenly let out a burst of electricity, causing the lights on the tree to flicker and shine. Serena's eyes widened in surprise, and Ash laughed.
"Looks like you wanna get in on the decorating action!" Ash exclaimed, almost falling over from laughter.
Serena playfully rolled her eyes "You and Pikachu are going to electrocute the whole tree."
Ash chuckled, "Hey, it's all part of the charm! Besides, it's not Christmas without a little bit of chaos, right?"
As they finished decorating the tree, Ash stepped back to admire their handiwork. "Ta-da! What do you think, Serena? Is it not the most epic Christmas tree ever or what?"
Serena smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement, "I think it's... certainly one of a kind, Ash. You've outdone yourself this time."
Ash beamed with pride, "Thanks, Serena! I couldn't have done it without you. You're the best partner a guy could ask for."
Serena's face flushed, and she looked away, trying to hide her smile, "I think it's the other way around, Ash. You're the one who brings all the excitement and energy to our team."
Ash grinned, feeling happy and content, "I do think we make a pretty great team, don't you? I mean, who else can put up with my crazy ideas and this guy’s antics?" He pointed at Pikachu, who was halfway up the tree.
Serena laughed, shaking her head, "I'm not sure, but I'm glad I'm coming along for the ride."
They laughed, sharing a warm, friendly smile, and with that the Pokémon around them began to chime in, filling the center with chirps and whistles.
"Merry Christmas, Serena," Ash said, his voice filled with sincerity.
Serena's smile softened, and she replied, "Merry Christmas, Ash. May all your Pokémon dreams come true."
Ash's face lit up with excitement. "You know what that means? It means we're going to have the best Christmas ever….. and it’s gonna rain croquette sandwiches!!!”
Serena laughed, shaking her head. "You're something else, Ash Ketchum. But I wouldn't have it any other way."

Chapter 4.
Ekko walked up to Jinx that night, holding a bunch of blue flowers. He was really nervous. (His shaky hands gave it away)
Jinx looked at the flowers and raised an eyebrow. "What's with the flowers, Ekko?" Ekko looked down and saw that the flowers were all wilted. "Aww, man. They got all…droopy," he said, feeling embarrassed. But Jinx just shrugged. "I don't care, they look nice. They're kinda cute," she said, trying to hide her smile. Ekko's face lit up, "really? You like them?" he asked, feeling happy.
Jinx rolled her eyes. "Shut up, Ekko. Of course I like them...you're kinda cute when you're all nervous and stuff," she said, looking away.
Ekko's heart skipped a beat. He took a step closer to Jinx, "I have something to tell you, Jinx," he said, his voice shaking.
Jinx looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "What is it, Ekko?" she asked, trying to sound tough.
Ekko took a deep breath. "I...I like you, Jinx. A lot," he said, his face turning red.
Jinx's face turned bright red too. "What?? That’s not funny Ekko…”
“Do you… really like me?? Like, genuinely?”
But then, she didn't say anything else. She just stood there, looking at Ekko with a mix of emotions on her face. Ekko's heart was racing, waiting for her to say something.
"Of course I do…" Ekko said, trying to break the silence, “Always have.”
But Jinx just looked away, her face still red. "I wasn’t expecting this, Ekko," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “I didn’t even put on something nice..”
Ekko's face fell, but he tried to stay positive. "O-oh,It’s okay, you look really nice. Take your time, Jinx," he said, trying to sound calm. Jinx nodded, still not looking at Ekko. "Yeah...Thanks, um…" she said. Ekko nodded, feeling a bit disappointed. But he didn't want to push Jinx, so he just stood there, waiting for her to say something. The silence between them was awkward, but Ekko didn't care. He was just happy to be near Jinx, even if she was being a bit weird. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Jinx turned back to Ekko. "Ekko?" she said, her voice soft.
"Yeah?" Ekko replied, his heart skipping a beat.
Jinx looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with emotion. "I feel the same way, Ekko," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Ekko's heart soared. He took a step closer to Jinx, his face lighting up with a smile. "Really?" he asked, trying to contain his excitement.
Jinx nodded, a small smile on her face. "Yeah...really," she said.
And then, in a movement that seemed to slow down time itself, Jinx leaned in and kissed Ekko. Ekko's heart melted, and he wrapped his arms around Jinx, kissing her back. The wilted flowers were forgotten, but neither of them cared enough. The only thing that mattered were their unconditional love for one another.
