Do You Like Passive Nightmare A Lot? I Feel Like He's Just Often Tossed Aside For Corrupted Nightmare

Do you like passive Nightmare a lot? I feel like he's just often tossed aside for corrupted Nightmare ngl, same with Dream but that's a whole other story XD

How do you interpret his character? Since there really isn't much of a canon to go off of for him!! Just curious! :D!

oh my GOD. if resetmare and my other designs of nightmare that just basically look like passive aren't enough proof, yes. yes i adore passive!

it comes naturally to me to make dream extroverted and nightmare introverted, but post apple i feel like because of the trauma, they kinda switched around on that because of the things they went and will go through. just a thought!

so yeah, firstly, i like to think he's pretty introverted! hence why he doesn't hang out with the villagers much like dream does and doesn't seem to mind either.

he's an avid reader (given), and is very much the "I'M the older twin so i have to take care of you" type of character.

he's stubborn, just like his brother and maybe even more so, and is very easy to hold grudges. dream also can get mad but forgives extremely easy but nightmare does not. he holds onto grudges, especially towards the villagers who do some pretty awful stuff towards him. sometimes his grudges last centuries.

he has a bad case of RBF (lol), but is very loving and attached in his relationships. he doesn't form them often but when he does, he holds them close. so he really cares about dream a lot more than he lets on!

he is also very curious and would like to wander more but he has the duty of protecting the tree. his favorite genre of books are fantasy and adventure books, and he constantly fantasizes (lol) about exploring the world without the worries of being a guardian.

he doesn't like to eat much, but he likes the art of baking! (he wishes they had an oven. and a house. and a stable life.) he's bonded with dream about it before.

that's all i've thought of so far :p they're pretty general headcanons but yeah!
