I’m really sick and tired of the demonization of the gay men/Nblm pride flag.

“It copied the lesbian flag” yeah and the lesbian flag copied flags created by gay men.

We literally copied off of each other, stop looking for excuses to hate gay men/nblm. And I know a lot of these same people are white because they’re constantly trashing and disregarding mlm and deciding to ignore the struggles of POC mlm. Y’all are so disgusting and sheltered, it’s beyond me.

If you consume fanfic on ao3 and are 18+ and American I need you to lock in and call your senators saying you oppose a federal porn ban. This would effectively ban ao3 and being queer in public, among many other things, due to the intentionally vague language of the bill. Friendly reminders to cis fanfic writers that afab≠woman

Afab means assigned female at birth so this includes/can include cis women, trans men, transmasc people, nonbinary people, and intersex people.

If you’re making a fic where the reader is a woman, uses she/her, wears feminine clothing, etc. tag it as fem reader instead.

I’ve been smacked in the face as a trans man by reading fics tagged afab thinking it will be gender neutral, but the reader is actually a woman and I’m disappointed because I was ready for a fic I thought would apply to me.
