Also according to this source, the lava oceans/source blocks in the nether and mc in general would probably be orourless, but the flowing lava and lava falls would have a strong smell. This also applies to pandoras vault!

(Also just imagine c!dream complaining about the awful smell in the vault, and piglin hybrid c!techno says it reminds him of home,,,)
