This is what happens when you want to celebrate your best friend's birthday... And he doesn't.

My mom just found out my sis got a 76 in science on her report card and just told her "no tablet tomorrow" if that had been me I WOULD HAVE NOT SEEN TOMORROW
Odd Squad came out when I was starting Pre-k. I remember my younger self would race to the living room after school in order to not miss any new Season 1 episodes. When I got older, Season 2 came out. I will always appreciate Season 1, but I can never be thankful enough for Season 2.
I had a really bad teacher in 2nd grade, like to the point I didn't ever want to go to school. (Which was rare for me back then-I used to love going) (I actually ended up moving schools cause of that teacher, but that's a story for another day)
One of the only things. that could make me feel some semblance of happiness during that time were new and reruns of Season 2 Odd Squad episodes.
I love Otto, Olive, and Oscar, nothing can beat the OGs, but I remember seeing Olympia, Otis, and Oona on screen being one of the few things that could cheer me up.
I have only seen some Season 3 and Season 4 episodes (mostly because im not the target demographic for the show anymore), but this anniversary has inspired me to finish both seasons 3 and 4. (I feel like I owe it to that scared little 2nd grader, ya'know?)
Point is, Odd Squad has been there for me, in both the good and bad. It was/is the first fandom I've ever been in. The world and characters inspired my love for other fandoms, and has inspired me to try writing fanfiction.
Odd Squad Forever!

Hc that sleep-deprived mari is and absolute beast.
It's 6am and she just got back from a battle with an akuma. She barely got any sleep cuz her school starts at 730 and she had to get ready. Except she's so tired that she lets her hair down, not bothering to wash it, throws on some clothes, grabs a pastry, and is out the door.
She doesn't even wait for the light to turn green. She walks across the street like she has nothing to live for and gets to school. On her way to homeroom, she gets weird looks, but it to tired to care/notice.
When she sits down, she immediately folds her arms and sleeps. When the teacher wakes her up, she can barley keep her eyes open.
So when lila makes a smart ass comment, Marinette loses it. She stands up, looks lila directly in the eye and goes,
"lila, maybe you should mind your own fucking business for once. I'm tired because I had to spend all night in the bakery with my parents, you know, working. I understand you have no idea what that's like, but some of use actually have lives. Maybe we don't spend all night obsessing over boys, or what we're gonna wear tomorrow, or how to style or hair; not that you would know anything about fashion with that hideous goddamn jacket."
And the room goes dead silent. Even hawkmoth is shocked at the sheer caliber of negative energy radiating off marinette.
Then our girl boss queen sits back down and goes to sleep. Even the teacher is scared to wake her.
Part of the PJO, Harry Potter, Odd Squad, MLB fandoms & more. She/her and currently identifies as bisexual.
