Kitchen witches believe that the kitchen is a sacred place where all of the magick happens. They focus on the use of edible ingredients and kitchen tools. A cottage witch is a witch that brings magick into the house and are protectors of the hearth and home. They bring cheer and warmth to every room they enter. Their focuses are on the family, home, and daily needs. Both the cottage and Kitchen witch believe that by honoring the home it honors the Gods and Goddesses. They bring magick into everyday life and daily chores.
Ways a Kitchen and Cottage witch can bring magick into a home:
Create a kitchen altar
Stock your shelves with herbs and spices
Bring maximum feng-shui to your home
Keep the home physically and spiritually clean
Paint the house walls in colours that bring happiness, warmth, and coziness
When making a sandwich put mustard or mayo sigils on it
When making meals add herbs that correspond to your magickal needs
Decorate the home according to the sabbats
Brew some special teas
Make your own candles, salves, and tinctures.
Make offerings to Gods and Goddesses of hearth and home.
Ask your deities to keep your house safe and healthy.
Create your own recipes and add your own touch of magick to them
Put intent into everything you cook and clean
Make an incantation or short song to sing while you stir.
Inscribe your wooden spoons with sigils
Carve your wooden shelves with sigils - carve them at the bottom of the cupboard to remain discreet
Craft oils, incense, soaps, potions, and salves.
Make herbal remedies
Chant while cleaning or preparing a meal
Use numerology in their practices by the number of times they stir or the number of times they knead dough.
During the mead moon, brew mead with magickal intent.
Decorate the home with your own art or art done by your children, poems, knits, woodcraft’s, paintings, quilts, diy’s, or tapestries.
Enchant your crafts.
Use weather magick, candle magick, ribbon charms, and anything else used to add magick to your home.
Honour the ancestors.
Bless the home.
Start a garden and will it with organic and in season fruits and vegetables.
Charge herbal oils by moonlight or candlelight to heal, bless the home or to clean and protect the woodwork she polishes with it.
Scatter charm bags, witches ladders, chimes, and bells around the home.
Grow an indoor jungle
Learn herbal remedies to treat MINOR injuries
If you work with meat make sure to thank and honour the animal it came from.
Sing or play music to raise good vibrations
Bake and cut cookies in shapes to match your intentions
Provide someone in need with a free meal
Volunteer at a local soup kitchen to bring magick into it

How I cleanse and add protection/strength to my houseplants 💚 Song is "Again" by Doris Day
It sucks when you can’t even enjoy reading a readers insert when it’s only catered to white people.
Like, it’s a readers insert, I shouldn’t have to read shit like, “you’re long blonde hair laid perfectly on your shoulder..”
“You’re face turns a bright red in embarrassment..”
“Your long, tanned slender legs caught my attention..”
“His mouth moved from one breast to another. Your pink nipples perk as his goes..”
This list goes on and it’s annoying.
“If it bothers you so much why don’t you just make your own fics?!”
It’s simple. I shouldn’t have too! If this fandom is truly for everyone, then everyone should be included! Point blank. And let’s not forget that when WOC actually do go out and write their own fics catering to WOC, whether big or small, they get hate message from anons[because they’re to pussy to say it off anon] who think that [Insert Character] wouldn’t be with a WOC. I’ve been follow @wildaboutchrisevans for a while now and I’ve seen the hate that they get for writing fics about a WOC. The same thing happened with @black-mcu-imagines @blackityblackfamdomheadcanons and so on and so forth.
It seems like people are trying to push WOC out of the fandom but when we create our own then we’re called racist and a whole bunch of other shit for making fics for WOC.
I shouldn’t even be making this post but apparently I have to because y’all just aren’t getting it because when you write something, especially a readers insert, and you purposely add a description of the reader [insert hair, eyes, skin color] into the mix then it’s not a readers insert but a fic for white women. If I read a tilt like, “You’re [insert white character] sister..” then I’m already out before I even get a chance to read it.
I know that there are some writers out there who are trying to do better for all the fandom but there are still some out there who refuse to write for WOC because they’re not one themselves. Like, google is free and so are blogs on here that are dedicated to WOC, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t mind answering any questions.
If this fandom is really for everybody then fucking start acting like it!
And that’s that on that.
I’m sorry to bother you, but do you have any tips for how to learn to draw?, how did you start to draw? How did you improve? How did you learn to draw what you wanted? You’re so talented and I love your art ❣️
Thank you! Hmm I don’t think I really have as many tips other than study and not just draw. Like, ideally what you wanna do is work on your observational skills by studying lots and lots of real life refs. You can do this by a variety of ways such as anatomy study (with the actual muscle details), dissecting things into shape language (what are the major shapes used, where/how do they connect?) in which tracing over a picture can be useful as well. Note that you need to be actively looking at what you’re drawing when you try to trace by learning- simply drawing over lines will not help you. As an example, you can do something like this:
What works for me may not work for you, but I find it helpful to break down bodies into shape language that msoothly flows into each other. So for example, how the pectorals connect to the shoulders etc. Tracing over it isn’t even necessary perse, you can also just look at a picture and try to draw the big shapes you see. This will actually help you build your base sketch as well, and once you have a good idea of how shapes work in 3D, you can build off a reference without copying it for example.
Once you start learning these things and work on your observational skills, you start being able to apply it to other things. You’ll notice yourself getting better at picturing shapes in 3D. You can also choose to start simple, building up to complex shapes.
I hope that helps!
