my favorite version of "sirius finding out about jegulus" is when sirius is worried james (who he views as the straightest person on earth) sees regulus as a girl only to find out that james affirms regulus's identity more than anyone. especially if it involves james and sirius rescuing regulus from grimmauld, and especially especially if this rescue involves sirius and james seeing regulus in a ballgown. what can i say, i have very specific tastes

Remus had been angry at Sirius for far to long now. There was always something that got in the middle when he wanted to forgive him.

First it was the thought that it had not been long enough and he deserved to drown in his own guilt. Because Remus could've killed Snape. Not just Snape, but James too. And that was too much to just forget. So he spent a week without speaking to him.

Then was the realization that Sirius might betray him like that again. And he couldn't accept that. So, another week without talking.

After two weeks of hating Sirius he considered it. He really did. But then he saw him laugh with James, like nothing had happened, and decided to hate him for yet another week (without noticing that Sirius hated himself for feeling happy, when thought he should be feeling awful all the time)

And then, after three weeks, here he was. In his bed after everyone had gone to sleep, thinking. Thinking how the love of his life has just a few steps away and regretting every single minute he was not with him.

The realization that Sirius never ment to hurt him, that it was a mistake, and that he spent the last three weeks hating him struck Remus so suddenly, that he lost his breath.

He got up and walked straight to the bed next to his and stopped. He knew Sirius was awake. He had hear him sob a bit, like he usually did before to sleep these days.

He opened the red curtains and whispered "Sirius?"

When the other boy saw him he answered with the only thing that he had said to Remus since the prank "I'm sorry".

The guilt in his grey eyes broke moony's heart. He got in, and hugged him, and kissed him.

They spent a long time whispering "I'm sorry"s and "it's okay" "I love you" until they fell asleep, arms wrapped around each other.

And just like that, they were okay again. What had happened in the last few weeks would always be a hard topic, but it was nothing compared to how much they loved the other. So, so much.

Sirius and Remus had been dating for a month when the letters started. None of their friends knew, not even their fellow marauders.

They had decided to keep it a secret for a while, because Sirius was still figuring out his sexuality and needed to save it for himself and his boyfriend for a little bit.

Although they hadn't expected it to be a month, they were doing pretty good at hiding.

One day, at transfiguration class Sirius received a little note that simply said "you're gorgeous :)"

He smiled, because he knew Remus handwriting by heart.

He saved it in his pocket, and later in his bedside table.

The next day, during Charms, another note laid in his desk, this time a little longer "your eyer are so beautiful, like two silver diamonds"

This, obviously, made Sirius blush. He saved it with the other.

The third day, he sat with James, who saw another note in their pocions desk and quirked an eyebrow at him

-you must have an admirerer Pads! It's the third time this week that you get a note!

Sirius laughed nervously -yeah, maybe

-any idea who it might be?

-no clue

He grabbed the letter before his friend could and read it "you should be a painting, so people could admire you forever"

He saved it in his pocket, refusing to let James look at it. He would realize who wrote it instantly, after all the times moony helped with their homeworks and passed notes during boring classes.

During the recess, he grabbed Remus' hand and went to an empty classroom.

-Those letters are so cute, my love- he said and kissed him softly

-They only state the truth sweetheart-

-But, James almost read it and he would KNOW it's you-

-Well, yeah- Remus doubted- I wouldn't mind, but I will stop if you're not ready yet

-No- Sirius said, looking like he was reconsidering his whole life - no, it's okay, I'm definitely Bisexual and I want them to know so I wouldn't mind- he smiled- Let's tell them who my admirer is.

His boyfriend chuckled and they kissed for a while

They didn't hear when the door opened, but they certainly heard the loud gasp.

The other two marauders were standing in shock at the door, eyes wide open, Peter with a little smile and James absolutely surprised.

-uuh, guys?- Remus said softly- we have something to tell you...

everyone’s always talking about how james is such an amazing dad, and yeah, he’s awesome, but can we take a moment to talk about regulus as a parent? i mean, let’s just agree that he’s sooo attentive, and sooo loving, and he always lets their kid hang out with him in the kitchen while he’s cooking or cleaning, just listening to them go off about random stuff like, "daddy, mr. snuggles (aka the stuffed bunny) said he doesn’t like carrots. we had a fight." and regulus will give this exaggerated shocked look and be like, "no way? seriously? you’re telling me?" all wide-eyed and dramatic, and they’ll just go back and forth like that for hours, because their kid’s got the same endless chatter as james

Sirius became Sirius Lupin, he wanted nothing to do with the Black family anymore

Regulus became Regulus Potter-Black, while he wanted nothing to do with his family, they were still a part of him, but he was more than them, and he was a Potter first

Honestly could be any of the marauders they are having a bad time
