Ace 👌
It terrifies me that there’s so much raging passion in the lgbt+ community that insist on marginalizing asexuals and implying that asexuals don’t deserve to have safe spaces. There’s still so much acephobia so I just wanna know which blogs are genuinely supportive and a safe space for asexuals
Preach.
send this to whoever needs to hear it.
for transgender people, hearing their birth name or the wrong pronouns hurts. they just want to be perceived as whom they really are - regardless of whether that's how you've always known them or not. it's not some sort of privilege that you can revoke when you're upset with them, it's not an option (no matter how close you are with them, even if you think they wouldn't mind), it's not them being forceful. trans people would not generally get upset with you for messing up towards the beginning of their transition. they get upset with you when it feels like you aren't trying. so:
you are not the one who is suffering by a trans person in your life asking you to try harder to use their correct name/pronouns.
