hayley rolled her eyes at his comments, they'd known each other for years now and still there had been no change in her reaction. however, it was now always followed with a cheeky smile, knowing that was always the way to soothe the original. "you've had to holler for me since we met." a smirk grew on her lips before shaking her head softly. "klaus we have gone over this before, we are not disbanding the faction. it is still getting it's bearings and with this serial killer on the loose, it's needed more than ever."
rolling her shoulders back, she folded her arms and gave klaus a glare. "have you seen that boy our daughter has been sneaking around with? he reminds me of you and i hate that she grew up with my taste in men. her taste in women has always been better."
"Sine when do I need to hollor after the mother of my first born," he said stepping into line with hayley. "You know I heard rumors again, about people disliking all the faction members being Mikaelson's," he commented. That was people for you, never good enough. "We need to end this before it becomes a problem."
her eyes closed softly as he cupped her face, his touch had always settled her nerves. slowly her eyes opened and she looked into his eyes and decided to be honest, or at least a little honest. "i'm okay, just feel like a porcelain doll when i'm near anyone. sometimes it doesn't feel real with how far away you all are. even with you so close, i can tell you want to be further." eleanor sighed, placing her hands at the nape of his neck. "i don't think you are going to hurt me and i don't even think you hurt me then. i miss you, the way you felt before."
it was hard to explain all the feelings that swirled in her body. elle needed more time, but she also didn't want to be alone in it all. she wanted him near.
she had caught him red handed staring at her , but who could blame him since she looked like a goddess in that dress . locking eyes with eleanor he couldn't look away , although part of him told himself to run before he hurt her again , but while she looked like an angel . piercing blues watched as she walked over , and before his knew it he matched her movement meeting her in the middle . he smiled lightly at her words . suddenly his hand cupped her face . he sighed deeply , feeling enchanted by his love . " how have you been , elle ? " he questioned , wanting to know that she was alright .
kaya's voice screamed over every other loud thought that passed through the demons anxious brain. looking over with wide eyes, gabriela stood up and ran quickly over towards their daughter. tears changing from doom and fear to instant happiness, because all of this could be handled. raymis couldn't hurt any of them as long as they were together, she was so sure of that. felt it in her bones as if it was some prophecy. pulling their daughter into a tight hug, gabi's breathing began to go back to a steadier pace. the hellhound had always been her axis.
"babygirl, i am so sorry. i should've known raymis would try to hurt you and mariana. i mean i did know, but i just wasn't prepared, but i am now." all that mattered was reassuring each child that this wasn't fully on them. hell wasn't an easy place to find yourself, it changes your very dna with how brutal it can be. gabriela never wanted kaya to see that place. "i'm going to kill him and he won't be able to come back next time. i will make sure of it."
After arriving back on the material plane, Kaya's mind didn't even attempt to quiet. Everything was a jumbled mess, and though she'd seen her brother and her friends, there was only one person who could help to quiet the rage that coursed through her like hot fire. When she hadn't been at home, Kaya'd quickly set out in the direction of lakeview. A place they shared together, their quiet place. Seeing her mom with tears in her eyes broke something in her just a little bit more. If she had just been better, faster, stronger, she could have prevented all of this, could have prevented the tears that ran down her mom's face. And wasn't that the point of her existence?
"Mom?" Kaya asked, her voice so small. She stood a few feet away, wringing her hands together nervously. Everything felt so different, so wrong and changed, and she wasn't sure how to approach any of her old relationships the same way anymore. But she knew, at least, that her mom would always be there to hold her hand and hug her tight through all the pain.
her eyes rolled at his comment about mothers, unable to stifle her laugh too much. the kid was smart, even if he wasn't being that way currently. hayley refused to answer his questions, until the woman was out of sight. then she stood in his view while giving a stern look. "i've seen you around my daughter." she admitted closing the space between them before glancing over at the body in the dumpster. if anything he was just like klaus and that made her even more nervous. "so we are going to have a small talk right now and honestly i don't need to hear much from you, but if you harm hope i will find you. so will her dad and honestly he can be scarier than me most days."
taking a step back, she gave laurie some space. "try to be more discreet with all this death. i don't think you are the serial killer, just some kid with a an appetite."
Laurie groaned, looking up. "God, this town is full of buzz kills, isn't it?" He looked at her with a crooked expression, "Can a guy not have a little drink without everyone and their mother interrupting?" Heaven forbid she looked into the dumpster. Still holding the barely living girl, he bit his wrist and forced it into her mouth, watching as her neck knit itself back together. Then, he spun her around and looked in her eyes. "Forget everything that's happened in the past twenty minutes. Go inside, collect your friends, and go home. And don't do anything reckless for the next few days, for god's sake." The woman nodded and marched back inside. Laurie found the interruption of a woman's face again. "Better?"

after the newest faction meeting, hayley decided to scout the streets in her own way. taking people watching to the next step by using her hybrid abilities, she walked through crowds. it was clear who was human and who was supernatural, humans had no worry lines on their forehead. no one was really giving her any new details, a lot of them just anxious about the gruesome murders. still she kept going, getting lost in other conversations and not realizing the noise her body made, as it bumped into a loud chain-link fence. shaking her head, the hybrid realized that andrew was staring. "guess i got a little too caught up in other peoples business." a slight smirk covered her lips. "you doing okay andrew?"

rumor had it that there was a supernatural killer on the loose and those who were aware of the attack were on edge . it didn't help that the newbie vampire was attacked the moment he stepped in new orleans . but now there were actual murders happening in the city . heads severed and bodies bound and set on fire . this was enough to keep the redhead on guard , understanding that anything could happened at any given moment . andrew looked back when he heard a noise .

'cause i was never told that i wasn't gonna get, the things i want the most, but people always say, "if it hasn't happened yet then maybe you should go" -- chappell roan california
josie had lost a lot of her faith after the merge, but now that lizzie is back from the dead and hope is talking to her again, it appears there is a rejuvenation on the rise. the siphoner is filled with a type of hope that she thought was long lost. for the first time in a long time, it appears that she is putting her wants first, as she know begins the search for masked woman she met at the masquerade ball.
however, josie is filled with insecurity, something that she desperately is trying to work on, but it does get in the way. for three years, she was faithless, loosing all want to really be a person in the world. something that was met with discouragement after dabbling in black magic in europe.
can josie find herself again?
what's happened? the question played over and over, yet she never could give a proper answer. rubbing in between their brows, before taking a seat next to sammy. "a lot has happened and i'm honestly not sure where to start, but i have to tell you all of it now before raymis gets ahold of you." gabriela didn't realize that this fear had already come true. "sammy, after i sold my soul i was sent to hell. while there i was broken and not myself. plus hell isn't exactly a place that helps your mental health. anyways, i brought people's souls to another demon. this turned me into a very dark version of myself and then i met raymis...." she trailed off, trying to think of how to describe all of this to her son.
"raymis is a demon and he only wants pain and suffering. i was caught up in it all, until i met your father." tyler had changed so much for the demon. allowed her to realize that love wasn't conditional. "for so long, i thought that i was meant to suffer and raymis he kept me feeling that way. that's how he liked me best, knowing that my place was below him. he was dead but now he's back and he took your sister, he hurt mariana." tears welled in her eyes, something that seemed to be happening frequently now. this wasn't like them, to feel so powerless but there was no other way to feel when your family is in danger. "we got her back but she is going to need a lot of time to recover."
Sammy stayed lost in his conversation with the person the other side of the phone screen and only looked up to notice his mother when he she spoke. He gave her a smile and shrugged a little. Not really knowing that anything was going on to warrant any panic. "I've been out... why is everything okay?" he questioned finally as he senses a tenseness from the female. He sat himself up and watched her with expectant eyes. "What's happened?" he responded.
a genuine laugh left eleanor, causing her stance to soften before nodding her head in agreement. "completely agree! i'd much rather be in something comfortable and watching a movie than do this for fun. before i got in here and saw people wearing masks, i thought the idea was going to be fun, but it feels off." shrugging her shoulders, she tilted her head and smiled. "my name is eleanor by the way, glad to meet a fellow introvert."
it felt like there was an instant ease in blossom's stance as she heard the other speak. a small relief that she wasn't the only one feeling out of place or awkward in this situation. balls and grand places were never her favorite place to be, especially without her sketch pad. the only grand place she liked to go was the art gallery. “oh i know that feeling.” blossom commented as she wondered who was behind the mask. it would make blossom feel so much more comfortable if there was no masks on. “i mean, this isn't my idea of a fun thing. it feels as if i touch something i may break it and be charged the bill.”
hearing faith's voice pulled the siphoner out of her bad mood, a sigh of relief left her lips as she began picking up the papers on the floor. shaking her head with a giggle, josie looked up at her sister with a grin. "you're right this would be ten times worse if these papers were wet." placing what was needed in a folder, she got up and flattened out the edges of her skirt. grabbing the papers in the blondes hand, she tilted her head with a smile. "work was, well it was awful and i didn't sleep last night so i'm on edge, sorry about that."
there’s an ‘oof’ when the two collide, and faith’s attention immediately turns to the paper cup in her hand which she tries to balance out of spilling its content over. thankfully, the misfortune ends with her sister’s flying papers. “could be worse,” faith offers as she kneels down to help pick up some papers with her free hand, “i could’ve spilled your drink all over.” she lets a small laugh out.
