"i am also here to ease my own mind thank you very much." shrugging, she placed her nervous hands in her jean pockets and gave a tight lipped smile. "it's not easy finding out this type of thing and well if you need to talk to anyone, i'm here."

"did they ask you to check how i was?" blossom asked, eyes not moving from her sketchpad. she could sense who it was and there was a slight ease spreading through blossoms body. "because if they did, i'm fine. i told them that and i can tell you too." eyes looking briefly up at her. she should be grateful to know she was a banshee, that all her nightmares, the drawing of what now made sense, death scenes were apart of her but yet, it felt more isolating than before. "oh my gosh jay, i'm so sorry, it's just been a few years since i've seen you near the house." hayley felt a little embarrassed, she'd know the kid for a very long time given who his parents were. when he and lizzie got engaged, they spent even more time together, but that had felt like so long ago. time was manipulated by the grief they all felt after the merge. "how are you doing sweetie?" she lifted her eyebrow at the other, knowing it was a loaded question, but it had to be asked. hope had become a totally different person after everything. how could she not? lizzie, hope, and josie were inseparable and intended to beat every odd that told them otherwise. jay was in the middle of it all and honestly the hybrid wasn't sure where his loyalties lied.

Jay nodded. "Lizzie," he said slowly as he looked at her. "Lizzie's fiancee." He hasn't really seem her family since it happened. Since she has died. But he had been with her 2 years, so they were all familiar in a way. Then he paused. "Also... you know Aiden's kid," he said given she was his dad's alpha.

it was far too early for gabriela's face to show the exact amount of excitement that ran though her body once elena pulled out the extra coffee. machine coffee was the bane of the demons existence, it provided no actual energy and tasted burnt. taking the cup as if it was treasure, she smiled sweetly at the other, grateful to be so in sync.

"I mean unless someone that was raised from the dead was really bad, like not a demon who fell in love and is grumpy about life in general." before meeting tyler, gabi's life was filled with violence and moments that would stick with her for the rest of her life. even if she managed to do good things now, it would never erase the things they did. only few knew that she was a demon, not wanting it to get around town, it wasn't easy to explain. "does uhh damon know that you are part of the faction? cause i haven't told tyler yet, but i plan to when he comes home..." she trailed off a smirk on her lips. "it will probably be the next morning when i actually manage to say something."

Elena leaned back into the car and pulled out a second coffee. "Call it intuition," she said as she handed it over to her friend. She was going to use it to bribe the morgue guy, but she had other tricks up her sleeve if necessary.

As they walked into the hospital, Elena scanned her badge and let them into the service elevator that would take them downstairs. "Yeah, I don't believe it, either. Unless we're missing something, it seems like the dead that have been raised are innocent." She thought about Summer, certainly she wasn't out there killing witches and vampires, right? "It's too close to be a coincidence, but why would they raise the dead and then kill more supernatural?" Whoever was behind the recent goings on had to have some kind of master plan, and Elena was determined to figure out what it was.

eleanor wasn't sure how she ended up here, someone at the local bookshop said that the mikaelson's were big on art. even though she should've been taking time to being used to living once more, instead she threw herself into work. with a manuscript in hand, elle made her way into the kitchen, the aroma of a large meal filled her senses, causing her to realize that she hadn't eaten much today. with wide eyes, she met charlie's gaze and shook her head softly. "no really, i'm the one intruding...umm i was told that this family is into helping the arts...and i have this book that i wanted one of you to take a look at." her tone was awkward and stiff, no matter how many times she cursed herself in her mind, the weirdness stayed.

As the first rays of morning light filtered through the windows, Charlie found himself free from the confines of the garden lockup. Filled with a newfound sense of purpose, he headed straight to the kitchen, ready to take on the day.

With a burst of energy, Charlie began to transform the space, pots and pans clanging as he dug into his culinary creations. Lost in a whirlwind of spices and flavors, he didn't notice the soft footsteps approaching him until a gentle cough broke through his concentration.

her eyebrows rose at his quip, taking a deep inhale, trying to stuff away her annoyance. josie had met eli before, her family became much bigger after her mother married klaus. something that she found helpful after the merge. losing such a huge part of her, still never healed but having so many people around that cared, helped her on the darker days. rolling her eyes she looked up to eli and then back at the papers. "yeah well there's a first time for everything." once grabbing the last piece, she managed to shuffle them back into place before getting up from her knees.

"you know for being so tall and strong, you could've put that to use with the cleanup." brushing her legs, she placed a hand on her hip. josie was exhausted so that made her tempers flare, but eli hadn't really done anything wrong. it wasn't his fault he was built like a quarterback, sighing she smiled softly. "sorry, i uhh haven't really slept well so any minor inconvenience has just made me grumpy."

Eli had felt the same shift as other had commented on. It felt like something big and insidious lurking in corners, but no one had any idea what. As he made his way through town, he saw the female and smirked to himself. Of course Eli had the arrogance not just of that of a mikaelson but also from his father and that gave him an unruly confidence. As he approached his cousins friend, he was soon colliding into her as she came crashing into her body.

He had stopped just before her but not seeing him had caused his larger frame to knock her back and her paperwork fall to the ground. He looked down to it before moving his hues upwards towards the other for a moment as she spoke. "Well that's not exactly the greeting I was expecting...I don't usually hit girls off their feet... although seeing them at my feet isn't that uncommon.." he remarked.

gabriela watched it happen, the fork was in between her fingers and then it was heading straight for her daughter. this happened often, not the whole throwing a fork thing, but the demon would get so into a conversation that their limbs didn't always match up with their brain. causing her arms to flail about. gasping before placing a hand over her mouth, gabi raised an eyebrow at kaya's question. it wasn't until their daughter grinned that it felt as if they could breathe again. shaking her head with a smirk, she replied. "now babygirl why would i do anything like that?"
