I haven’t been very satisfied with my art the past couple weeks. I’ve been sketching things just to delete them. But I said fuck it, went straight to painting, and I actually really like how these came out.

Robert Plant and Lucas. Originally did this for a few friends and posted it uncolored. And now I’m putting it here for y’all to see.

They look almost like an elf and a hobbit.

I drew this back in June, but for some reason never posted it. Ganymede has always been an interesting mythological figure to me, and with the Percy Jackson series on my mind, I wanted to take a crack at what he might look like in a modern setting.

Seeing as it’s Robert Plant’s birthday today, I’ve had him and, subsequently, the half-fae bard I based off of him on my mind pretty much all day.

So enjoy the Art History lecture doodle I found myself doing of her as my little homage to Mr. Plant this year.

Goro as he appears in a fic I’ll probably never write. Basically him going on his own Fool’s Journey and having to navigate his way through Labyrinths rather than Palaces. There’s no way for me to get into all the other cool stuff involved, especially the Norse mythological jazz, in a concise way. So I’ll have to share those ideas another day.
