I went into Gooseworx's tumblr and made a list of all the info found on there so far.

Caine named himself before deciding that it's an acronym that stands for Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity (he thinks it makes him sound more professional)

Caine does not have an age. He is an AI.

Apparently, Caine is likely to be the best singer out of everyone.

Caine can't grasp the concept of irony

Caine is not affected by "this statement is false."

If Caine could remove his outfit, there'd be nothing underneath

Caine gives nicknames to everyone and everything

Bubble speaks backwards once in episode 3.

Bubble is apparently the biggest slut.

Bubble is a much simpler AI created by Caine

Bubble tastes like soap and feels really good when popped

Pomni's hat is part of her body

There's a particular character who hasn't been revealed yet who's practically a Gooseworx self-insert. (He's the mean one...Jax?)

Nobody likes Jax

Out of everyone trapped in the Digital Circus, Jax deserves to be there the most

Jax did not react well when he appeared in the Digital Circus

Gangle likes to draw, specifically anime

Gangle's favorite anime is Azumanga Daioh

Gangle had an anime character body pillow before she came to the Digital Circus

Gangle also likes One Piece. Her favourite character is Chopper

Kinger is the oldest and the tallest

There's an episode that heavily involves Kinger

Kinger and Zooble eat like a Chao

Zooble has a Zooble box in their room with other body parts and is constantly trying out new parts

Zooble would not allow someone to hug them

Zooble was the last to arrive in the Digital Circus before Pomni

Zooble is very grouchy and irritable

Zooble is 6 months older than Jax

Zooble would smoke weed if possible

There's "technically" a worm in episode 2

There are "many" characters we don't know about yet

Some episodes are a 1 on a horror scale, and there is an episode that's a 6 on the horror scale.

Episodes will typically be 21-25 minutes

The queen chess piece is named Queenie

DDCC is an inside joke between Gooseworx and a few friends, the 'X' was added to make it harder to pronounce

The performers of the Digital Circus can feel pain

Fans' attitudes toward AI-generated works

Irina Cisternino, a PhD candidate of Stony Brooke University, is writing their research on topics related to technology, art and fandom. You can participate by filling out a survey and additionally, signing up for an interview. The survey is expected to last until at least the end of April, those, who signed up for the interview, will be contacted later. You need to be at least 18 years old to participate in either, be able to understand and speak English and identify as a fan.

Spoilers for the outer wilds base game ::)

So, a star's light takes a REALLY long time to get to us, and the further it is, the longer it takes. So that means, if a star dies, then we won't stop seeing the light of that star until a LONG time after.

And, putting that logic into Outer Wilds, I realized that the universe isn't dying.

It's already dead.

The stars that are going supernova have already died, ages and ages ago. And the stars that "remain" when the sun goes supernova? They're actually just further away, the dying light not yet reaching the last remaining inhabitants of the universe.

And no, I'm not counting the Nomai that were seeking refuge from one of the only seemingly stable star systems.

Because they're already dead. They have been for a long time.

And doesn't that just make everything all the more lonely.

All the more isolating.

why is it always that the sign that the robot/AI is becoming ~*too human*~ is when they fall in looove

give me a robot who realizes they’ve ~*exceeded their programmed parameters*~ when they get incredibly emotionally attached to their favorite movie and start writing fanfiction about it

do you ever see a person and you are overcome with incredible fondness? and you just think "oh." but not in a romantic or sexual way you are just filled with warmth and it makes you happy, it just does. and you think "i'm so happy you exist. i'm happy you are somewhere out there in the world, doing your thing". it's love but also not entirely
