Made a rough size comparison about the Elder spirits and a chibi player. Image is from @jikatuka. It's simply a rough measurement of my own since I didn't see any accurate heights to the spirits. It's done in meters so I'll give it below in centimeters and inches. Note that it's not entirely accurate.

What is a Big Bang, Anyway?

The First Big Bang

Fandom Bangs are a longstanding fandom tradition, dating back to ye olden times of 2005 when the very first Big Bang was banged. That’s twenty years and counting!

The original Bang, the “Big Bang, Baby Challenge”, was invitation only, focused on a particular ship (Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter) and the minimum word count was 50k. Other people thought this was a really neat idea, so they started organizing Bangs for their own fandoms.

Why the Name?

Originally, the title was meant to invoke the chemistry between the characters being shipped. Before long, people were reinterpreting the name for their own fandom events. Over time, it’s come to refer more commonly to the explosion of novel-length, illustrated fics that Big Bangs generate.

Banging in the Modern Age

Big Bangs today are a little different. They’re usually open invitation, and the minimum word counts are often much shorter. Our first year was only 10K, and this year we’re up to 20k!*

In the end, the goal is the same: to create a massive influx of complete, illustrated longfics, which drop all at once with a BANG.

*Mini-bangs have even smaller requirements, with participants creating a fic totalling a few thousand words, and artists illustrating one piece.
**There are also Reverse Big Bangs, where artists create their pieces first, and writers base their fics off of them.

This is swap au, which main goal was to make Philip Luz's mentor and father figure👉👈. It's silly. And it's not thought out further than the main gang, so don't ask me questions about its lore, I don't know it myself. But it's still one of my oldest and beloved aus

I've been hiding it under my desk more than 7 months for a reason, if you interested, there's the explanation under the cut

2022-2023 winter was an emotionally difficult time for me. So I created The Shadow House and found comfort and consolation in it. I was really sensitive about this au so I was afraid to show it off. And when The Finally was released it DIDN'T help

Some good news and bad news!

Pootis Pins are FULLY FUNDED! Thank you guys so much! I can’t wait for you to get these cute lil’ guys!

The bad news: I got a false copyright claim on the new animation, forcing me to reupload it. Stuff like this is really upsetting after working for months straight on a project just for YouTubes broken content ID system to fail to do its job. I hate to ask for anything else as you guys have been so amazing supporting the new merch and vid, but if you wanted to watch it again or leave a comment on the reupload to help boost it, I would be very grateful 🥲 I don’t know if it’ll be able to recover view wise, but anything's better than sharing the $ from hard work with people who don’t deserve it. Thank you as always for supporting and being excited for the new animations, it means the world to me!
