okay, I’m rereading chain of gold and the foreshadowing is unbelievable! it is one of my favourite books, but I’ve only read the entirety of it twice so far (because it just feels wrong to reread it. I seriously can't believe that in the 1941 scene Aziraphale didn't offer to pick Crowley up even once. Girl, you've been best friends for almost 6 millennia. You trust him enough to let him hold a gun to your head. I think we're at the point that you can hold him. Not saying Crowley wouldn't bat an eye or get flustered, but are you really going to make him stand on hot coals when he's saving your ass?

I suck at art and photoshop, can someone please draw/edit that scene so Crowley is giving that speech while Aziraphale is casually carrying him bridal style?

But wouldn’t it then be

If Sona dies it feels like Alastair will require support more than Thomas?

But otherwise it would be a really sweet moment and like it will redeem Alastair a bit for Matthew (which is deeply necessary)

Okay but can we talk about the fact that Matthew seems to accept Thomas and Alastair‘s relationship? That he seems to warm up because he’s calling him „Alastair“ instead of „Carstairs“. That he trusts Alastair enough to save one of his best friends?
