Today marks one year since I've published the first chapter of my fic in my first lenguage.
I'm working on celebrating the "little things" in life, specially those that bring me joy.
One year writing almost with constancy, at times obsessively and still miraculously managing to handle all my other responsibilities.
I've been through so many changes since that first chapter... It's funny how I am no longer the same person, same as my characters. I've grown up so much it's hard to believe.
I've always struggled to feel proud of myself for anything, so like, happy one year to me đź’›
Don't you even feel embarassed for celebrating anything in your life, not even if it's something sensed "small".
Pairing: Cedric x Harry
Ao3: “The boy in my dreams” (Chapter 2)
“You have… Umh, quite a few fans. Admirers," he pronounced, looking at Cedric out of the corner of his eye before assuring, "Girls really seem to like you.”
Cedric raised an eyebrow, impressed by so many reasons. First of all, the vast majority of students supported Harry. Since he had been chosen as a seeker in first year (an incredible achievement), he was without a doubt the star. And he had a good winning percentage. People liked to gamble on winners. Cedric might be popular but he was no sports star. He meant to tell him that, but…
He had something better to ask.
"What about boys?"
This was the utmost fun!
I got to know a lot of tropes I haven’t hear before.
Thanks! @cielo-paradiso
I'm so tired of people being ashamed/embarrassed over the fanfiction tropes they like because of fear that others will disagree. So, I'm here and sharing all the tropes I like! Normalize sharing and talking about tropes that you like, its such a unifying thing across fandoms, and we should all celebrate our different preferences.
Make yours here!
Tagging a few mutuals! Feel free to participate or just ignore this if you aren't keen on sharing. @impishtubist @howtomakelovestay @immxrtalbi Have fun :)
I don't have an AO3 account so I'm just gonna say it on here-I adore your current hedric fic! I've binge read it all so far in the last 2 days, and I've never read anything like it. It's the perfect mix of cute romance and an interesting plot. I usually don't like stuff involving time travel (or AUs in general) but this one is an exception! It works really well. I hope you enjoy writing this as much as I do reading it.
I very much enjoy writing it and I enjoy it just as twice when I get to know that someone else does too đź’– Thanks for taking the time to write me a message!
I wanted to create what I longed to read in a romance, and I'm so happy it's the perfect mixture of all my favorite things. There is still so much to explore and I'm so excited
Funnily enough, I would've never thought I'd write a time travel plot. I don't usually read that kind of stories either, but when I first came up with the idea I found it a little different from what I knew and it carried the fic towards. Even when the plot has been a challange in so many ways, it's worth it. And their relationship is so damn cute and it's what I love writing the most ❤️❤️❤️
Part 2
Cho offered to paint their faces with the colors of Ireland just as she had done to hers. Harry didn't hesitate to nod and stood still as she brushed his face and held his chin for stability.
"All yours," Harry instructed as he rose from the seat, freeing it.
Cedric wasn't convinced, but he sat down.
The paint didn't seem like one of those that irritated his skin.
"You're adorable," Cho told Cedric with a big smile when she finished. A little shy all of a sudden, she added, "Both of you are.”
"Would you have painted me even if I supported Bulgaria?"
Cho laughed at Harry's indiscreet question.
"Yes, but it wouldn't have been my best work."
Harry's gaze fell on Cedric's face, studying it carefully as he recognized, “It does look really nice.”
The rosy hue, however, was not part of the Irish flag.

Along with Cho, they made it back to the Weasleys' tent just in time for all of them to head out into the woods towards the stadium. Ginny and Luna had the team colors painted on their cheeks. Harry entered just for a moment to grab the items he had bought for tonight.
He came out wearing all that, as if he were a walking flag.
Cedric covered his smile. He looked so adorable —and funny.
“Want one?” Harry handed him a green shamrock rosette. "I think I'm a little loaded."
"Sure," he said, stifling a laugh.
He took the brooch and clipped it to his coat.
In the same place where Harry had his, identical.
I love cliché. Give me more, please.
the good thing about being told that writing about a certain cliché or concept should be avoided “because it’s overdone” is that you can simply. ignore that and write about it anyway if you so desire. like it is that easy
Writing romance when your romantic life is a complete mess? Yeah.
Well, I least I loved and lost.
I guess it’s better than have never loved.
Or when I wrote romance and had literally no experience.
the rowling hag killed off cedric because she knew harry’s character would take a life of his own and try to date him in the next book
When my therapist asked me if I enjoyed it and I'm like yeah but, you know, it's hard work but yeah I do.
writing is the most insane hobby it's like,
is it easy? no
is it fast? also no
but is it fun? well,
So I gave up trying to restraint myself and I spent like four hours writing because “I deserve it” and “if you can’t beat them, join them” (and by them I mean my own head)
When did writing become such a reward?
And the main thing providing me dopamine
Now I’m happy and sleepy
Tomorrow I will study, since I got it out of my system for now. It feels nice
Non-canon but don’t we all agree he’d totally do it? Like that part just didn’t make it into the third book.
Ao3: “The boy in my dreams” (Chapter 5)
A dim light led him to where he had seen Harry a few hours ago, with a curtain that was now providing him some privacy.
"Harry?" he called out. His voice echoed throughout the room, even when he intended it to be a whisper. "Are you here?"
Cedric peeked behind the curtain, finding Harry scowling with one eye open. His head on the pillow turned to look at him, and he seemed confused. And exhausted. The circles under their eyes shone like the shadows that surrounded them.
"Sorry I woke you," he apologised so quickly he felt foolish. Because it was clear that Harry had been asleep. As much as it was clear that he needed to rest. “I didn't think you'd be sleeping.”
That brought a smile to Harry's face.
"What did you think I'd be doing?" He sat down and, after putting on his glasses, he looked at the time on the clock that was next to the bed and the only light on. “It's half past one in the morning.”
Harry sounded so amused it was strange.
Oddly enough, Cedric hadn't even stopped to think that Harry might have been sleeping. Or how late it was. Or that he shouldn't be wandering around the school at those hours. It was not allowed, and yet he had not hesitated to do so. Not even considered it.
So strange that none of it mattered.
He was just happy to see him.
