I love Cedric Diggory. Not only because he’s georgeous (insert Taylor Swift song) but he is also in some way a version of a popular boy, but make it good. He’s nice and a Hufflepuff. What is there not to love? Good boys didn’t use to catch most eyes in fiction. I remember the bad-boy era.

I love cliché. Give me more, please.
the good thing about being told that writing about a certain cliché or concept should be avoided “because it’s overdone” is that you can simply. ignore that and write about it anyway if you so desire. like it is that easy
When even you want to know what comes next.
There’s just so much planning can do —the rest it’s a mystery waiting to be unravel.
okay but when you get to the end of your draft and realize if you want to read more you're going to have to write more

- Oh, ¿no puedes satisfacerte contigo mismo? -No puedo. - Su sonrisa se hizo más amplia - Acabo de ganar el corazón de la única superhéroe del mundo. ¡Soy el hombre! -Ugh. Vale.
Moments in my hedric fic I can picture so perfectly

Cedric is high on painkillers after the first task and shares the space on the gurney with Harry

Pairing: Cedric x Harry
Ao3: “The boy in my dreams” (Chapter 2)
If only it could have been improvised, rather spontaneous instead of planned… but there was no other way he could pull it off. When Cedric ran across Harry in the corridor, he wished him good luck for the next day's Quidditch match in a very casual comment, as intended. Cedric felt quite nervous about playing against Harry and really wanted to be friendly. He had been waiting for an opportunity to talk to him again and refused to let their second meeting be on the field, on opposing teams.
It suddenly occurred to him that perhaps that could be easily misunderstood. He could only blame himself, since that was all he had been able to think of in advance, and now he was afraid he had sounded ironic or like he wanted to pick up some sort of fight.
People didn't go around just wishing luck to their opponents.
But Cedric really meant it.
Perhaps Harry could tell because he got closer with a smile.
“Thanks,” he said, walking next to Cedric. “Are you going to be there?”
Cedric wanted to stop, not knowing where he was taking him. The reality was that he had been wandering around aimlessly, no way expecting Harry to start a conversation. Cedric nodded in response, turning down the hallway to the left.
Maybe he did have a direction after all.
"Supporting your house, of course," Harry continued. His voice sounded warm, cheerful, not seeming at all nervous about the match or for talking to the opposing team.
"I will always support my house," Cedric replied confidently, and couldn't help but add, "But between us, I'd rather support Gryffindor than Slytherin."
That didn't come as a surprise to him. Okay, it was almost common knowledge. Most students from other houses would choose Gryffindor under those conditions.
"What if it's Ravenclaw?"
Harry was grinning. Why did Cedric realise that every time? He frowned a little, considering it. Sure, in that case he would be watching Harry play, but he had always been supportive of Ravenclaw.
"I have friends in Ravenclaw," he admitted, kind of embarrassed for not telling him that he would support his team. “So it's a clear conflict of interest.”
The answer must have caught him off guard, because Harry opened his eyes and looked away. Was it his imagination or had that somehow sounded… suggestive? It hadn't been his intention. Cedric didn't used to act like that and definitely did not usually think of backing a team for a boy either, but deep down he knew he would root for Harry from now on —even if he kept it a secret. What harm could one more secret do, especially when his green eyes haunted his dreams? The least he could do was follow him into his games.
I put the cards
over the table
for you to see it
and the game ended.
Someone might think
I'm the one who lost
but I'm not.
There are no winners
nor losers
in love.
Just players.
And I would do it
again and again
with somebody else.
Part 1
His father embarrassed Cedric when the topic of conversation he started upon meeting Harry was about the match they had played against each other, and he completely put aside Cedric's part where he established how their victory wasn't fair. He insisted that the best man had won, and words that once might have made Cedric feel validated now pained his expression.
"I'm sorry, my father…”
"He's proud of you," Harry said, not looking upset at all. “So you're gonna tell your grandkids about that match?”
“If I end up having those.”
"I imagine it as: children, Grandpa should tell you that once... a long time ago, when you weren't born... I beat Harry Potter in the most unfair way possible... and nobody let me correct it."
Cedric burst out laughing.
“Sounds pretty close to how it would be.”
"I would be honored if you tell your grandchildren about me."
“I'm sure most people will.”
Harry shrugged as if replying yeah, but still.
"If I had to tell them about a match, I'd prefer it to be a better one," Cedric admitted, somewhat intimidated because he suddenly thought that he would say: your grandfather was not only a friend of Harry Potter, but he had a little crush on him! Unrequited, of course. And there was the fact that he couldn't imagine a woman with whom he had children in the first place. “This year we’ll play on opposing teams again.”
"It will be difficult to play against you."
It didn't sound like the reason was his incredible flying skills.
"Would you let me win again?" Cedric teased sweetly.
"Only if you catch me if I fall again."
The subtle pressure on his chest was because he definitely would.

I totally love rewriting the canon moments <3
Ao3: Always Yours
Did I make this account so I could just ramble about Cedric and Harry and the fic I’m writing??
Yeah.
Do I have friends I could talk to? Yeah, a few.
Also I have a gf, but I wouldn’t want to annoy her. Like I gotta respect some boundaries.
