I first heard this as part of a skit from SNL that my roommates loved watching continuously and it annoyed me so. Later on I heard the song from Jason and it irritated me even more.

friendly aggressive reminder that the “mmm whatcha say” chorus was written by imogen heap for a song of her own that came out in 2005, and jason derulo both named his own song after the chorus he sampled from her and improperly credited her in 2009.

mmm whatcha say was written by a female artist and taken by jason derulo and now he gets credit for it. pls reblog bc not enough people know this. the original song is called hide and seek

This little guy came into my job a few days previous and at first, I thought it was just a child's toy (from the way the boy held it), but soon as I started to look at it more intently, it turned my direction and winked at me 😊 He was so gracious as to pose for me 😀
