Can we talk about how the news that Julia has very little time left to live will break Sahed's heart? And I don't even know what will hurt him more: the news itself or the realization that everyone else (well almost) knew and he didn't?

The further this goes and the more opportunities Julia misses to talk about this, the harder it becomes for me to keep reading calmly. Sahed has honestly shared everything about himself with Julia (well, now). But she is still keeping the most important secret from him. It seems to me that what hurts even more is not just that she is hiding this from him, but that he has the chance to help, yet she's depriving him of that... and most likely he will find out everything when it's too late to change anything.

On the other hand, I understand that Julia believes in a happy outcome. She believes that her problem will be solved. That's why she decides not to worry Sahed and probably thinks to tell him AFTER.
