So... I've realized I'm not reading with my eyes. Or my memory is s/#t. While reading the last chapter, I realized I didn't understand (nor remember) two things:
1. Those who become part of the troupe stop aging after a certain age, no? I just remembered that Sahed's hair is growing... I mean, hair growth isn't a sign of aging... but actually it's just a sign of changes in the body (? I'm stupid sorry), and I don't recall anyone ever emphasizing such things (like someone shaving or getting a haircut). I mean, I don't get it... their body functions are maintained and exist usually until they decide to "leave"? Visually, no one changes... and either Tonny wears the same hairstyle his whole long life, or they stop changing altogether (frozen in time). Or do they all change, just that no emphasis was placed on it, and the moment with Sahed was more for (oh, she noticed such a minor detail!)?
And question 2: Does Sahed know that Julia doesn't have much time left if Tonny doesn't come up with something? I distinctly remember that Kamille and Tonny know about this. But Sahed? It's just that if he knows, he's too calm. And if he doesn't... well, then it's understandable.
"I just...I think I can trust her"
"She's here with me now..."
"I need to trust her"
"I think it's the right thing to do. I'm sure of it"
Can we talk about how the news that Julia has very little time left to live will break Sahed's heart? And I don't even know what will hurt him more: the news itself or the realization that everyone else (well almost) knew and he didn't?
The further this goes and the more opportunities Julia misses to talk about this, the harder it becomes for me to keep reading calmly. Sahed has honestly shared everything about himself with Julia (well, now). But she is still keeping the most important secret from him. It seems to me that what hurts even more is not just that she is hiding this from him, but that he has the chance to help, yet she's depriving him of that... and most likely he will find out everything when it's too late to change anything.
On the other hand, I understand that Julia believes in a happy outcome. She believes that her problem will be solved. That's why she decides not to worry Sahed and probably thinks to tell him AFTER. Something like, "Well, here's the thing—I almost died-died. Funny, right? But everything's fine now, so don't worry!"
BUT THERE'S NO SAFE WAY OUT OF THIS SITUATION. SOMEONE IS GONNA 💀
"During the conversation, it's important to be on the same level with the child. When your eyes are in line with your child's, they feel important and safe."

After reading chapter 66, for some reason it seems to me that when Sahed tells Julia his story, she will be angry on his behalf.
She won't cry. She probably will be furious.
[That's my headcanon i dunno why]
Damn... the INTIMACY! (When two friends just casually chatting but you can feel SOMETHING)
the way they look at each other drives me crazy! I see this look in comics/manga/webtoons AT TWO FRAMES MAXIMUM. AND HERE THAT LOOK IS ALREADY LASTS FOR TWO WHOLE CHAPTERS!!!
And I'm soo happy with how Julia is permanently so honest like "yes I want you to tell me about your childhood trauma and hobbies". she disarms Sahed completely.
AND HAAAAANDS AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Also it’s cute how easily he flirts, but in order to say something sincere, he first needs to gather his courage and prepare. But for Julia it’s the other way around. Flirting is hard, but she will easily and honestly tell everything about what is in her soul and in her head.
And the way he sits with her 😭😭😭
Maybe I'm delulu dut I think he sits like that so the light from campfire didn't disturb her sleep.
Also reminds me of this photo
MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL YOU CAN FINALLY SEEEEE!!!!!!!!??? "SINCE THE BEGINNING" MAYBEEEEE!!!!!!!!!???????
oh... the look™ in their eyes...
