Going out of your way to say "adult human female" instead of just saying "woman" is weird, and someone going out of their way to say that is doing it as a dogwhistle, to let other terfs know that they're in the same little club.

It's not the words, but how they are used. Let's take the word "humanoid". It's a perfectly regular, neutral word for describing anything that appears human. It wouldn't be insulting to describe a human being as being humanoid.
